The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While driving various speeds, the vehicle lost power, the anti-lock brakes failed, and all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the anti-lock brake and check engine warning indicators illuminated. At times, the contact was able to turn the ignition off and on and the vehicle would either restart immediately or operate normally after a few minutes. The vehicle was taken to ch urness Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, ram in dalles, or (541)-296-2284, where a diagnostic test was completed, but there was uncertainty of the failure codes. The contact believed an ignition code was present, but no repairs were completed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 109,000.
