The vehicle was taken to a body shop where the contact was informed that the driver’s and passenger’s side bumper bracket clips had slightly detached and was protruding outwardly at high speeds. The contact was able to push the clips and bumpers inwardly; however, the bumper and the clips failed to remain secured. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not under recall. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 58,900.

08/Jeep /grand cherokee/4 door wagon, lower bumper is falling off, it has been replaced two times and repaired several times at least four times. I am at the point I am scared to drive the car afraid that the bumper will fall off and cause a accident. I do not want to cause someone to get hurt.

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the paint is just popping off the top as well as some spots on the hood. Also the bumpers and other trim on the vehicle has this white chalky residue on it and nothing will make it go away. Is there any recalls for this type damage or will you file this complaint so there will be a recall. I also had to have the ac evaporator replaced at my expense. Where do I go to get my reimbursement since I now know this was a recall?.

Bumpers were falling off.

While waiting at a stop sign vehicle suddenly accelerated for no reason, possible cause faulty throttle sensor. Also, Jeep has a higher bumper than mid-sized Toyota and went over bumper of Toyota, causing damage.
