I purchased the car on 10/07\2024, the dealer said there was a recall and I assumed it was for this issue: when I fill the tank it shoots fuel all over the place. Ive tried different gas stations but it doesn't help, it still shoots or spills fuel all over the place. I checked online and this seems to be a known problem caused by the ethanol in the fuel reacting with a check valve. Having fuel shoot out at you every time you fill the car is dangerous!!!.
Fuel spit back during refueling. When refueling at any gas pump, flammable fuel almost always spits back out of the filler hose, down the side of the vehicle and pools on ground by the tire. There has been a recall issued for the same issue and same vehicle model: Jeep Liberty kk, which runs from 2008-12. However, the recall only covers year 2008.

Fuel was spilling out underneath vehicle every time I filled up. The issue was that the plastic housing where the fuel filler tube connects to the gas tank hardened and deteriorated to a point where it begins to leak. That plastic appears not to be ethanol resistant. Indications a leak will or is occurring: p0456 code or fuel dripping down under vehicle or smell of fuel.
I have a safety recall that cannot be fixed according to tunkhannock auto mart and scranton Dodge. I'm experiencing all kind of malfunctions due to the sensor being bad I have no power, my shifting, fuel economy ,hard starts, everything. This is my only vehicle and I need a vehicle until this is resolved.

The vehicles doors lock and unlock while the car is in motion. The lights have gone out while moving down the road. The wipers will intermittently go on and off . The lights on the dash and radio will dim while driving. The car shifts multiple times while moving.
My engine light it on.
Every time a fill gas the car overfills and lots of gas spills out. This is happening at all different gas stations and I have seen others online with the same problem, my car has only 65k miles. This is for sure a safety issue that must be recalled, it is a huge fire hazard.
Every time I get gas, the Liberty cannot tell when to stop the pump from pumping gas. Gas ends up overflowing down the side of the car, on the ground and even sometimes on me. This is a dangerous situation.

Every time we put gas in our 2005 Jeep Liberty the pump doesn't stop and gas overflows onto the ground and onto the paint. This seems to be a common problem, is there a recall or something that can be done?.

When filling up with gas the gas will always spew back out when full. Spills gas all over the side of the Jeep and a good amount on the ground.
I was driving 35 mph straight on a city road when the orange engine light came on. I went to nearest auto store and had it scanned and it came out with code p0441. Incorrect purge flow.
The vehicle dies after filling it up with fuel. It has now happened to us multiple times, from what I have been reading it has been happening to lots of other people with Jeeps/chryslers as well.

This car has eletrical issues, while driving, the horn started going off on his own. I never use my horn, and can count on 1 hand how many times I used it. The repair cost me over $800. I also had to replace the motor for the rear door, I never use the hatch, and I had to replace. My car is now currently being repair for another electrical issue. The passager door is closed, however the door ajar light is on causing my interior light not to stay on. The passenger door is completely closed- due to this electrical issue my lights will not shut off and will kill the battery. I have also experience both windows decided to open and close while driving on their own. This car is an electrical disaster. I do not drive long distance, just local. Its a 2010 and I have 75, 000 miles on it.

The evap container isnt the right part and obviously was actually for a Jeep wrangler and has an extra inlet. After numerous attempts to contact Jeep for the last 4 months and still nothing this vehicle will stall while driving and it drives alot of interstate travel which is a huge safety risk and still have gotten nowhere all I want is for Jeep to make this right and fix the manufacturer mess up.
When starting vehicle it will not turn over. It continues to crank until ignition is switched off. This problem does not happen all the time and is very unpredictable. Typically after several attempts the vehicle will start up correctly. The vehicle has done this in the cold and in the heat, after running fine all day or sitting turned off over night.
After fueling and starting the vehicle, it fails to accelerate for several minutes. Also when fueling it doesn't stop and will overflow onto the ground if you don't keep track of how much gas you are putting in. Another issue is that the vehicle shakes very badly when idle.
Every time I put fuel into my car the fuel check valve does not shut off creating a fuel burp and pouring gasoline down the fenders of my car. Multiple times I have been splashed with gasoline myself very unsafe I have read on multiple forums that many people of the same car have the same exact problem potentially very dangerous.
Recall the whole car shakes when it's just start to move and when you start to push down on the brakes too.
So basically I'm driving my mom to work and about to reach and light and acceleration isn't working and I'm like whatever it's a red light ill just brake so I brake then the light turns green I press the acceleration and nothing it's not moving so then the steering wheel locked up literally couldn't turn it I miss the light turn off the car turn it on it's working I get to a stop sign the same thing happens but the oil light comes on so I'm like ok maybe this then I buy oil then I'm on my way home making a right onto a main road I'm like ok I'll make it and again the acceleration stops working and the steering wheel locks up so before it locks all the way I pull up and then turn it off back on and drive all the way home with the hazards you have no idea how terrifying it was to be on a main road and the acceleration stops like I pressed all the way and it wouldn't increase the speed the steering wheel locked couldn't even slightly turn so it was so scary I'm so scared to drive it and idk what to do or how to fix it that's why I need help.

I currently own two of the same year vehicles. They both have the same problem with the ecm. I have also spoken with multiple people who own Jeep vehicles @ the same year. We all seem to have; lifter, rod knocks, oxygen sensors and ecm that have caused multiple other problems (and severe accidents) due to their malfunctioning. I have had both of my vehicles to licensed mechanics, who have advised me of the same problem. One of the 2011 Jeep Libertys have been owned by me since brand new, the other was bought used. Please please help us out!!! I have spent so much money trying to repair these vehicles!!! the ecm & oxygen sensor need to be recalled!!!.
Gasoline over flows from fill tube every time the vehicle is filled with gasoline. This happens at every fill up and every station used to get gas.
When the thermostat gets to the middle indicator which is in the normal zone when you stop the vehicle shuts down until it cools.
