37 Electrical System problem of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 02/05/2026

Shortly after leaving my house I glanced at the digital readout for my speed and noticed that the instrument cluster was blank. I pulled over, stopped my Jeep, then restarted it to see if that would correct it, which it did not. I took it to a reputable auto/electrical garage who at first noticed a master fuse block blown and replaced the fuse block. That didn't correct the instrument cluster however but they did find a recall 30b for 2020 Jeep Wrangler. I called stellantis (1 800 334 9200) today, Feb 16th . I was told by 3 different people in 3 different departments that even though there is a safety recall on 2020 Jeeps my VIN# isn't included. I asked why not and was told that it depended where the Jeep was made. They also told me that the repair will be at my expense. This doesn't seem fair to me because the recall is a safety issue to replace the instrument panel cluster free of charge. Just because my Jeep VIN# wasn't included doesn't mean it wasn't going to fail like the others that were included!! I have no readouts on my dashboard and am sure it won't even pass inspection now because of that, let alone serious safety concerns without warning lights. I have to ask you, shouldn't my Jeep be included in this safety recall and be corrected by the manufacturer?!?! thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter! lauracampbell6958@gmail. 38 Electrical System problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 02/02/2026

The uconnect radio is not functioning correctly at 55000 miles it refreshes and restarts intermittently and the rear camera is not operating properly after switching to drive from reverse. The image remains in the screen for an extended period of time causing a view of the rear of the vehicle as it is driving forward. This gives a skewed perception of what is going on around the vehicle. It’s is distracting and confusing until the rear view camera returns to the “drive” condition of the vehicles transmission and removes the view of the rear of the vehicle from the radio.

The ipc intermittently goes blank and I lose driver information like remaining fuel and speed limit and other safety information. The ipc also turns green and gets distortion.

42 Electrical System problem of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/31/2026

On 1/19/2026 I had my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe serviced at a Jeep dealership to have recall 68c corrected. I received a call from the dealership later that day stating a new battery was not needed, only a software update was needed. They completed the software update. On 1/31/2026 when I started my Jeep in the morning, the check engine light was on. After stopping at a red light, my Jeep felt like it was losing power. To get it to move, I had to push the pedal down to the floor, the Jeep jerked some and did drive but felt like it was going to shut down. I pulled in the parking spot. Turned the car off and tried to turn it back on. It would not start. The red battery light appeared, a symbol of a charger (accel. ), and an error message stating, "service charging system". None the hybrid options were available and electronic mode showed not available. I had to have the Jeep towed to the dealership that recently completed the recall. The Jeep did start when the tow truck driver arrived, but I was worried that it would stall and leave me stranded on the beltway. On 2/2/2026 I received a call from the dealership stating the issue was with the battery and that it needed to be replace but it will take "some time" to receive. On 2/5/2026 I received a call from the dealership stating the battery should be received around 2/26/2026. I was reviewing online comments from other Jeep owners impacted by recall 68c and the issue that I experienced appears to be a common theme. Some reported it taking 4-6 weeks due to the battery not being available.

43 Electrical System problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/31/2026

My Jeep Wrangler 4xe underwent safety recall 68c, which included high-voltage battery replacement and associated electrical system work. The vehicle was held at the Jeep dealership for approximately one month for completion of this recall. After being notified that recall 68c was completed, I picked up the vehicle. Immediately upon pickup, I experienced electrical issues that were not present prior to the recall. Specifically, the passenger-side power running board failed to retract. The service manager accessed the area under the dashboard and restored operation, stating it was likely related to the battery replacement or electrical work performed during the recall. Upon driving the vehicle, I also noticed the steering wheel was not centered when driving straight, and the front end appeared visually misaligned. Less than 24 hours after pickup, while driving at approximately 65 mph on the freeway, the vehicle experienced sudden and violent steering oscillation consistent with death wobble. This required me to immediately pull over for safety. The vehicle had no prior history of death wobble, steering instability, or electrical running board issues before recall 68c was performed. Due to the severity of the condition, the vehicle was towed back to the Jeep dealership for further inspection.

45 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/29/2026

The hybrid system in my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe repeatedly fails, causing the vehicle to lose propulsion, drop out of electric mode, hesitate, and shut off while driving. These failures have occurred in traffic and at highway speeds. The vehicle has experienced multiple safety?related power?loss events, including on jr allen parkway and I?185, where the hybrid system failed to transition between electric and gas modes and the vehicle began losing power. Beginning in April 2025, the vehicle generated repeated Jeep connect alerts stating “electric charging failed for your vehicle. ” these alerts occurred dozens of times over many months, indicating an early hybrid?system malfunction. The issue is not related to home charging equipment, as the alerts come from the vehicle’s telematics system and the hybrid system later failed while driving. On February 5, 2026, the dealership’s service director informed us that the defect was identified, no fix exists, and the vehicle is unsafe to drive. Fca has not provided a remedy. The vehicle cannot be safely operated in electric mode due to hybrid?system failure, and it cannot be safely operated in gas mode due to engine?related safety concerns. The vehicle is unsafe in all modes of operation. This defect creates a serious risk of collision due to sudden loss of propulsion, inability to accelerate, and unexpected shutdowns while driving.

46 Electrical System problem of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/29/2026

The hybrid propulsion system in my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe intermittently malfunctions while driving. The “d” (drive) indicator on the gear selector begins flashing, and the engine rpms suddenly decrease without warning. During these events, the vehicle loses propulsion power and responsiveness. After several seconds, the vehicle may return to normal operation. This failure affects the hybrid powertrain and transmission system. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This condition creates a serious safety risk because the sudden loss of propulsion reduces the vehicle’s ability to accelerate or maintain speed in traffic. This is especially dangerous when merging, crossing intersections, or driving at highway speeds, as it increases the risk of collision due to loss of power and reduced vehicle control. The vehicle has been evaluated by a Jeep dealership service department. The dealership has not provided a permanent repair, and the manufacturer recall affecting the hybrid system remains open and unresolved. The recall repair has not been performed, and the hybrid malfunction continues to occur. The vehicle has been inspected by dealership personnel, but the issue remains unresolved. The dealership indicated that replacing the 12-volt battery may help, but no definitive root cause has been identified, and the hybrid system malfunction continues. There were no battery warning lights prior to or during the failure. The primary symptom is the flashing “d” indicator and sudden decrease in rpms, followed by temporary recovery. This indicates a malfunction of the hybrid propulsion system. This unresolved hybrid system failure presents an ongoing safety hazard and loss of propulsion while driving.

47 Electrical System problem of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/23/2026

My instrument cluster failed on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler. I can't see any of my vehicle information. This makes safety a real concern for me. There is an existing recall for 2020 Jeep Wranglers. My VIN is not included? could it be evaluated please.

48 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/22/2026

After 68c recall vehicle on electric mode looses complete power “maximum throttle input”uphill for roughly 5-10 seconds until gas engine kicks in to support. On 2 drives after getting the vehicle back I almost got rear ended by an 18 wheeler both times.

49 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/21/2026

Following a manufacturer over-the-air (ota) software update released in fall 2025 and subsequent completion of safety recall 68c, my vehicle exhibits new and dangerous driving behavior that did not exist prior to these updates. While operating in electric mode, the vehicle can unexpectedly lose power during acceleration, including at roadway speeds and while climbing hills, creating a risk of sudden deceleration in traffic. Under electric operation, the vehicle accelerates normally up to approximately 45 mph. Beyond that point, electric power output progressively decreases even as accelerator input is maintained or increased. Vehicle speed can decline while the accelerator is further depressed, and the electric power indicator visibly drops. This often results in abrupt internal combustion engine (ice) engagement, aggressive downshifting, and sudden acceleration. This loss-and-surge behavior is unpredictable and hazardous, particularly in traffic or on inclines. Prior to the ota update and recall action, the vehicle provided consistent electric power well beyond 45 mph, and ice engagement was smooth and nearly imperceptible. I consistently achieved approximately 22–23 miles of electric range on the same daily route. Post-update and post-recall, usable electric range has been reduced to approximately 14–15 miles under similar conditions, regardless of weather. The issue also occurs at low speeds, including complete loss of electric momentum while climbing hills, followed by harsh ice engagement that can cause wheel spin. This behavior raises safety concerns related to power loss and unexpected acceleration. Based on the timing and nature of these changes, I am concerned that software updates may be intentionally limiting battery power output and usable capacity to reduce stress on potentially defective high-voltage batteries rather than correcting the underlying hardware defect. This materially alters vehicle performance and safety and requires investigation.

50 Electrical System problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/20/2026

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 25v741000 (electrical system). The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the repair could not be performed because there were no loaner vehicles available, if the repair failed. The appointment was rescheduled for two weeks later. The dealer was contacted prior to the scheduled appointment date and the contact was informed again that no loaner vehicles were available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue but provided no assistance. The contact was informed that the manufacturer could check with other dealers and about the availability of a loaner vehicle. The contact had not experienced a failure.

51 Electrical System problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/20/2026

My 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe experienced a sudden loss of power while driving on interstate 285 in atlanta during rush hour traffic. The vehicle began shaking and lunging forward unpredictably while I attempted to exit the highway. With hazard lights on, I slowly crept the vehicle to the dealership because it could barely move. The vehicle is currently at the dealership for recall 68c related to the hybrid battery system. This incident created a dangerous situation on a major interstate and could have caused a serious accident.

52 Electrical System problem of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/19/2026

Official report: unjustified denial of safety remedy & data inconsistency - VIN: 1c4jjxn6xpw623043 I am filing this official complaint regarding a significant barrier to resolving safety recall 68c (battery fire risk) and recall 78c on my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. 1. Debunking manufacturer claims: stellantis middle east (ref: fa-25274) has declined to perform the remedy, claiming authorized dealers in my region lack the necessary equipment. This is factually incorrect. The manufacturer's own portal (Jeep. Com) confirms that recall 04b (hcp software update) was successfully repaired on this VIN by the local authorized dealer (harlem cars). 2. Disappearing safety records: I possess a prior screenshot from the official portal confirming that recall 95b (high voltage battery) was also successfully repaired by the same dealer. However, this record has recently disappeared from the active recall list on the manufacturer's website. This removal of a safety record, combined with the current denial of service, raises serious concerns about data integrity and safety compliance. 3. Proven technical capability: the successful completion of recall 95b and 04b-both involving high-voltage systems and software-proves the dealer is fully equipped. Furthermore, mopar session b27c4acf-bcff-4dbc-99ac-aba6477d31b1 confirms active, real-time communication between the dealer's witech 2. 0 tools and u. S. Servers. 4. Request: I request NHTSA to intervene and compel stellantis to provide the necessary software permissions to the local dealer to resolve the 68c fire hazard and the idcm replacement immediately.

53 Electrical System problem of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/19/2026

My instrument cluster has failed. I can't see any vehicle information. No gas or oil gauges. No information what so ever. I can't see my speed or if may my be overheating. This is basic safety issues I should be able to see. There has been a recall for 2020 Jeep Wrangler's so other people have has the same issue. I can't drive without the basic safety instruments working. I don't even know how many miles are on my Jeep.

54 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/18/2026

Ever since the 68c recall update my Jeep has been having a hard time knowing what system it should be using to drive. The electric system shuts off, but the engine doesn’t start up until I press the gas pedal to the floor. I’ve had multiple instances on the freeway where this has happened and almost caused me to wreck. I’m very concerned this is happening.

55 Electrical System problem of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact was informed that the repair was not covered under a recall. The failure mileage was approximately 49,272.

56 Electrical System problem of the 2020 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/16/2026

The 3. 5" screen on my Jeep went out. Which prevented me from seeing speed, mileage and gas. They have recalled other Jeeps from 2018-2024 but mine is not included because it has been in service for more then 24 months. We bought the Jeep in 2023 with 20 some thousand miles on it. Why is there a time limit on a faulty part? not everyone drives their cars 30,000+ a year, so problems with parts won't be known as early as 2 years. We replaced it and it cost $1600 plus a week of not having my car.

57 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/16/2026

I have two open serious recalls on my Jeep Wrangler 4xe. There is a recall for the batter/charging system so I cannot plug it in to the charger I purchased for my home. I also have a continuing issue with my gas tank - it will not fill and the nozzel clicks off even though I have next to no gas in the tank. I can't charge the car, yet can't fill it with gas. I have brought it back to the dealership 3 or 4 times in the less than two years of owning the car. There is also a recall that effects the engine so I am scared to drive it on the highway. Basically I was tricked into leasing a $60,000 piece of absolute garbage. I can't get out of the lease early without having to -pay some type of penalty or losing money, which is really unfair. The company knows about these issues and took advantage of customers.

58 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/15/2026

After having the 68c recall software update completed on my Jeep at an authorized dealership, I now experience sluggish and decreased acceleration (even deceleration) upon pressing the accelerator more than half way (approximately). This happened twice on hills in which I needed to increase power while in electric mode. What happened was the Jeep seemed to lose power and decrease in speed while trying to go up the hill. I continued pressing the accelerator farther down and the Jeep seemed to be even more sluggish until all of a sudden the combustion engine kicked in at a very intense level and high rpm, lurching be forward, almost into the back of another vehicle. The sudden decrease in power to an even more sudden and drastic (sharp) increase felt dangerous.

59 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/15/2026

After the 68c / NHTSA 25v-741 recall was completed, the Jeep can be difficult to drive and will dangerously lose power or accelerate unexpectedly. When driving in electric mode it will suddenly lose power and often start the engine abruptly. I've nearly been rear ended when it lost power, but also almost crashed into the car in front of me when the engine started abruptly and gave full power unexpectedly. This is a new characteristic since the recall was completed. I spoke with the dealer assistant service manager, and he said that unless the vehicle is displaying an error or warning, that it is operating as stellantis has written the software for the recall. I spoke with stellantis and told them of the severe safety issue, and that I feel unsafe driving it. Since I've been told this defect is normal, I asked for a refund/return. They said "sorry" and can't help me and referred me to arbitration. This is a defective vehicle that has been rendered even further defective. Stellantis refuses to take any responsibility.

64 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/10/2026

Driving around town and the car just dies on me. I had my kids with me in the car this time when it happened. This is now getting scary when my car is my daily driver and I should not have to worry if I have my kids in the car when I drive it and it just dies. If my kids get hurt due to an accident from this dang recall that is taking months to get any remedy I should be able to get out of my lease with my Jeep. If my kids get hurt in any way with this damn recall it my car catches fire with my kids in the back seat. I am coming full force with lawyers. . Something needs to happen soon before my kids get hurt because Jeep does not care about the safety of their customers. Their apology is a $100 gift card. . They need to just take them off the market and get anyone one out of their leases without any penalties. . If they do not make it right they will loose a long time customer. .

65 Electrical System problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/09/2026

My engine light came on shortly after my first warranty oil change August 23,2025 at the tonkin hillsboro dealership. During my 2nd warranty oil change January 9,2026 at tonkin hillsboro dealership I let them know my engine light came on after their last service and they wanted to charge me the diagnosis fee. After continued discussion learned they already checked the code indicator and mentioned possible gas cap seal and it was not fixed. Today I received an updated carfax of my recent service and saw a recall for my vehicle dated on October 30, 2025 urgent fire risk when parked. Nhtsa recall number 25v741000 manufacturer recall number68c NHTSA recall number25v-741 recall statusrecall incomplete this safety was not checked, fixed or completed within the consumer regulatory requirement of recalls while my vehicle was in service and in their observation. If the recall notice is dated October 30, 2025, there should be no reason for an oversight in providing clear communication and corrective action immediately while the vehicle was in service on January 9,2025 and communication/information before I picked up the vehicle and drove it off the lot. This is a certified vehicle that so far has not given me any confidence of proper dealership quality and car for vehicle safety and consumer CO concern.

66 Electrical System problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/09/2026

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 25v741000 (electrical system). The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that when the vehicle was started, the message "electric mode temporarily unavailable - fuel and oil refresh in progress" was displayed. The message was more prevalent during colder weather. The vehicle remained at the dealer unrepaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 14,988.

67 Electrical System problem of the 2022 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/08/2026

The vehicle poses a fire risk not allowing the vehicle to be parked under structures and the vehicle cannot be charged even though it is a plug-in hybrid vehicle. There is an active recall and this is not the first one. The fix for the recall is a software update that can shut off the high voltage battery if an issue is encountered which leaves the vehicle in limp mode, which is dangerous when traveling on the highway. If a new battery is required, the same faulty style batteries are exchanged. Stellantis is not addressing the car issues appropriately.

68 Electrical System problem of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/08/2026

I own a 2024 Jeep 4xe in alabama with approximately 9,000 miles. The vehicle was towed to a dealership due to safety concerns related to active recalls, including recall 68c involving the high-voltage battery, as well as a second engine-related recall for which no remedy has been issued. The vehicle was checked in and a repair order was opened. Dealer diagnostic notes indicate trouble codes related to the high-voltage system, coolant heater, and evap system, and state that certain components “need to be replaced. ” despite this, I later received a text message stating the vehicle was “ready for pickup,” even though active safety recalls remain and it was not clearly communicated that the listed components were replaced. Because these recalls involve potential fire risk and high-voltage system faults, I do not feel the vehicle is safe to operate, especially with children riding in it. The vehicle has remained at the dealership for almost 2 weeks with limited communication. I am currently paying for a rental vehicle out of pocket while awaiting reimbursement from stellantis, with no clear timeline for repayment or confirmation of continued coverage. Attempts to obtain updates from both the dealership and stellantis case management have often gone unanswered. I am submitting this complaint due to unresolved safety concerns, extended vehicle downtime, unclear repair status, and financial impact related to rental transportation.

69 Electrical System problem of the 2025 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/07/2026

I took my Jeep to the dealership to have the 68c recall fix done. Upon “passing” I was told I could continue charging as normal. I began charging as I did prior to the recall and recall fix and it fried my gfci outlet and thankfully so or it my house would have caught fire. The only thing on that circuit is the Jeep charger and garage door opener, same as before the recall and recall fix. I’ve had an electrician out to confirm it wasn’t an electrical issue.

70 Electrical System problem of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/06/2026

On Tuesday January 6 2026, I was driving my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. I noticed smoke coming out the engine. I pulled over to the side of the road to determine the problem. Upon exiting the vehicle, I saw flames coming from the undercarriage of the engine. The fire soon engulfed the vehicle. 911 was called. Police and fire responded. The vehicle was destroyed in the fire. I have photos and videos of the fire and aftermath, taken once I exited the vehicle. I assume the fire is the result of the recent recall on the battery components of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The vehicle is currently in an impound lot and would be available for inspection upon request. I have notified Jeep and my insurance of the incident, but the Jeep has not as of yet, been inspected by either entity. The fire was of great risk to myself. If I hadn't pulled over when I did who knows what might have occurred. In addition I had a full tank of gas so the vehicle could have exploded endangering other people, vehicles, and property. No warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem appeared prior to the failure. The vehicle had been operating as intended prior to smoke/fire. I have documentation of a service of the vehicle on Wednesday Dec 3, 2025 with raidon's of kirkland in which the performed recall services.
