1 Suspension Noise problem of the 2019 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 01/01/2019

Steering issues caused by weak steering components and poor suspension geometry. Death wobble and jumpy, loose, wandering steering from factory. Brought into dealer may for updated oem trackbar with stiffer bushing update and updated steering stabilizer. This has tightened steering somewhat and reduced the amplitude of death wobble but has not eliminated it. Jeep still wanders and jumps onto adjacent lanes when hitting expansion joint on freeway. Dealer service manager refuses to consider alternative fixes that have been shown to have positive results for others. Wind noise from a pillar and freedom top. Dealer noted but failed to fix inadequate defroster channeling results in the defroster only clearing the center of windshield. Driver cannot see out of WI shield. Design flaw since this is on all 2018 and 2019 jl. Dealer refuses to fix fragile windshield glass. Service manager ager refuses to consider this an issue eve. Though 1000s have lost their windshield and have broken numerous ones in short about ts of time too short lower control armcountry ol arms in not enough caster and lack of a caster adjustment results in poor steering. All above items occur when Jeep is in motion and represents ts a hazard on the road.

2 Suspension Noise problem of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 10/09/2015

Twice in last 2yrs my standard Wrangler has refused to shift into geer and made a winding noise. . Then stalled and refused to start for upto 10 min. It happend last fal with approx 2900 miles on it then again a few days ago with 4800 miles. . . Not sure why or what is cause nothing is wrong according to dealership garage. Also hitting any little bump for the last 30000 miles has made Jeep jump like the rearend is flopping to one side also hard breaking causes same issue. . All suspension parts are either new or newer. . Looks like someone tried to fix that issue and failed. . . I am afraid these issues will eventually cause an accident.

3 Suspension Noise problem of the 2008 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 03/07/2012

Rear steel brake lines mounted to frame for rear wheels coming into contact with rear sway bar. Noted noise. This noise is a light "clacking" metal sound and could only be heard at moderate speed when on the trail or going through "dips" on public streets with side window down. While rotating tires suspension is checked. Discovered rub marks on steel brake lines under the frame next to the rear sway bar. Driver's side was worn, passenger side had black paint rubbed off on it. No damage or chafing to either rubber brake lines making final connection to rear hubs. Noted frame clips attached to steel line holding brake line away and into contact zone of sway bar when suspension cycles. Rough measurements between axle and bump stop is about 2/3 cycle when sway bar hits brake line. Estimate suspension does not bottom out or contact bump stop when brake lines are being hit by sway bar. Wrote Chrysler an e-mail regarding this issue. After two days received a response that read like a "sales brochure" or "commercial" not acknowledging anything that I had mentioned about the brake lines. Then the second paragraph pointed out I had not complied with a "tow bar" recall and that I should. Which I had last year. The reason I report this now. Last year the Jeep was on recall for the front brake lines being rubbed by the inner fender wells. Which was taken care of by a local dealer ship. In retrospect of the front brake line recall. Thought I would bring this to your attention. Might this same model have had a rear brake line routing issue too? in the case you may want a copy of the above mentioned e-mail and response please don't hesitate.

4 Suspension Noise problem of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler

Failure Date: 10/01/2011

At approximately 3,000 miles I performed the first oil change. I found the drain plug, which is typically tight, to be loose. I was able to remove it with my fingers. At approximately 6,000 miles, I began to hear a clunking noise at low speeds. After trying to diagnose the issue for over a week, I finally discovered the problem. The upper anti-sway bar fasteners on the front suspension were loose. I torqued them back to specs myself. I am concerned about what other nuts or bolts may be loose on this vehicle. Jeep issued a recall for "loose suspension fasteners" for 2010 and 2011 models, but my VIN is not included. I believe the problem may be more widespread than Jeep has spoken it to be.

5 Suspension Noise problem of the 2002 Jeep Wrangler

A loose bolt in the suspension system caused noise while driving on a dirt road and when driving over bumps on a paved road.
