1 Blown Head Gasket problem of the 2002 Land Rover Freelander

Failure Date: 06/07/2008

We purchased a 02 Freelander by Land Rover and it has turned out to be a lemon. Repairs after repairs. It overheats and when it does it overheats the starter causing it to fail as well if it overheats too much it causes the head gaskets to blow or a crack on the engine.

2 Blown Head Gasket problem of the 2003 Land Rover Freelander

Failure Date: 04/10/2008

My lr Freelander 2003, has an overheating problem, the head gasket is blown and is in need of repair. There are now mechanics that will fix the problem except for the Land Rover dealer and they can not guarantee the work. There is a design defect with the heads in this vehicle know by the manufacturer but they refuse to make this a recall to the consumers and they have stopped making this engine. I need this repair done so I may at least trade the vehicle in for a new vehicle.
