Mazda CX-5 owners have reported 1 problem related to brake master cylinder (under the service brakes category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Mazda CX-5 based on all problems reported for the CX-5.
Since purchased, the vehicle driver noted brake pedal was "soft" when braking the vehicle. There was not enough pressure in the master cylinder system, in which the brake did not return appropriately. The pads did not perform, so all the interior routers grinded. The vehicle had consistent movement on a weekly basis and the mileage on the car does not warrant all four rotors and pad having to be replaced.
