I [xxx] purchased the vehicle from daytona, Nissan on [xxx] on the morning of [xxx], the airbag light came on. And was flashing. I took videos of all the different occurrences. I went back to the dealership and talked to the salesman that sold it to us. His name was simon. And he brought us in, and we were talking to a manager they disconnected the battery and try to reset it as we were leaving, the salesman walked us out. When we fired up the vehicle, the whole dash flashed and went black in front of the salesman. A day later, we broke down in the truck and had to be jumped. We took it to the dealership, and they put a new battery in and a couple days later, it came on again. But took it in again, and they put us in a rental car for a week they told us when we got the truck back that they changed a airbag sensor and then a couple weeks later, my son was driving and the vehicle stalled on him while driving it took him 4x to fire it back up. When it did fire back up, it would only go 7 mile an hour. And it was jerking forward. He took it directly to Nissan. They ran some diagnostic on it. And disconnect the battery again, but they couldn't see it. Do it again. So on [xxx] the airbag light came back on. And finally on September 11th we took it back to the dealership, and they put us in a rental car. And the mechanic told us that he thinks that it possibly could be the indicator light. The parts manager at daytona Nissan said he's looked on the website and they said that the part that we need is on. Indefinite, back order and probably won't get it. We have contacted Nissan corporate to try to resolve the situation her named is bhavika phone number 888-800-5139 ext 7320456 case # [xxx] she says the vehicle is not safe to drive I don't feel safe driving this vehicle I'm having to pay $820 a month for a vehicle that's unsafe and not in my possession. Please help me! this is the fifth time also to full tank 200 miles and ac whistles. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

I have a 2016 Nissan Frontier with only 68,000 miles on it. The airbag light on the dash started flashing. I took it to any mohr Nissan and they diagnosed that the sensor inside the passenger seat that tells the system if someone is sitting there has failed and that it is an $1800 repair, because the only way to fix it is to replace the whole seat. They said they couldn't say whether the airbag would deploy or not in an accident if I didn't fix the sensor.

The driver air bag light came on. Vehicle was taken to a Nissan dealer. It was determined that the air bag module was bad. The dealer informed me that the air bag is a takata. Vehicle is a 2009 Frontier pro 4x with 117,000 miles. Contacted Nissan and was informed that vehicle mileage and age does not warrant any assistance from Nissan in making the repair. There was a recall on takat air bags.

My airbag light is flashing and the front air bag crash zone sensor needs to be replaced. There is a recall in effect, but only for vehicles in 'salt' states. My vehicle is registered in va, but I traveled in PA, MD, and DC for several years for work, so my vehicle should be covered on the existing warranty recall.
Airbag light comes on when ignition turned on and remains blinking/flashing until ignition turned off. Remains on whether standing still or in motion at any speed.

Air bag lights stay on blinking.
Airbag light blinks constantly. Possible front air bag sensor defective.
I have repeatedly gotten indicators (via vehicle's computer) of air bag failure, on a vehicle of low mileage, which has never been in an accident, and has gotten failures regarding the front passenger seat, which is rarely used. The first time, the dealer replaced the seatback and airbag under warranty. The second time the dealer replaced the seatbelt assembly. How, the 3rd time, they tell me that the same seat - cushion needs to be replaced, along with the airbag, and that I have to pay over $2,000 for this. Each time I get this failure notification, my airbag is disabled. So, it is an ongoing issue. The air bag failure light keeps coming on randomly, not related to a driving incident.

My airbag light began to flash a year ago I took it to Nissan they told me it was a seat cushion sensor it would cost me $500. 00 to have it fixed. I am writting this in complaint that this has not been in recall I have waited for this period in expectation of receiving a recall notice. Also a failure code for belt tensioner. To have these items repaired would cost a total of $2175. 14. I don't agree I should be responsible for the front passenger seat airbag sensor. No one sits in the seat, nothing should go wrong with the sensor. It came on all of a sudden. When starting the vehicle.

About 10000 miles ago airbag light started continuously blinking with a possible b1054 computer code. $1300 repair!.
My air bag light has been on and took it into the dealership. Was told the front impact sensor was the issue, which was covered under a Nissan campaign for known issues. Truck was initially purchased in NY and driven on salted roads, which was the cause for sensor failure, however I lived in FL at the time the recall was issued. The campaign was 08v690000.

Passenger sensor light comes while driving then resets when engine restarted. This happens a couple times then airbag light in console starts flashing permanently. The person sitting in the seat is easily 250 lbs so it must be a sensor ir even issue. Had a dealer check it once and no error code shows up.
