Air bag light keeps flashing. It was put on a machine and the code is b1134, l/f side module is open. Mechanic says it means if I get in an accident the driver side air bag won't go off.
I have taken my truck twice to the Nissan dealer for repair air bag dash light warning. The srs light keeps going off even when I took to the Nissan dealer shop where purchased the vehicle. I can only speculate that it has to do something with the air bag itself or possibly the sensor for the passenger seat. Both times after they so called "fixed" the problem, the light would come back on a day or two after. Mostly whenever I have a passenger sit in the passenger chair. The "srs" air bag light would turn off for a while at first after first passenger would sit. However, once the dashboard airbag light comes bag on, it will never turn off. This is a defect in my vehicle and I know other models under Nissan have been recalled, but my truck seems to be affected as well. I would think my vehicle falls under the same recall, however Nissan does not recognize this defect.
On the weekend September 17 2016 a red air bag light on my dashboard was and is blinking intermittent. I called three Nissan dealers and was informed that it is most likely the OCS sensor. Upon asking about the recall on Nissan OCS sensor I was told that the Frontier was not on the recall list. We feel that the OCS sensor on any Nissan vehicle should be on the recall list,no matter where the Frontier was manufactured. The red blinking light came on as we were going home. After I was told that the Frontier was on the list I was informed that the sensor would cost me $1180. 00 we feel that this is not right or fair.
The issue with my Nissan Frontier is that the passenger airbag light illuminates randomly while driving (indicating that there is not someone sitting in the seat and the airbag would not go off) while there have been full-grown adults sitting properly in the seat. . I was sent to a dealer, where I was charged for them to look into this and I was told there was not anything they could do because they could not replicate the issue. I tried to explain it randomly happens and that is does not happen every time, however I was told they could not do anything else for me. I have tried to reach your company multiple times and have been ignored. This is a serious safety concern. I have videos of this issue and no one will help me.
Airbag light has been turning on for no reason whether the car is parked or running. Took it to service they reset it and went on again.

I was driving my truck (Nissan Frontier) last night when all of a sudden the airbag light came on while driving. This light will not go off. Then when I took the truck to the dealership today I was told that I would have to pay for the cost to repair the airbag component and they wanted over 400 dollars to fix the issue. They stated that they did not have the part and it is okay to drive the truck the way it is. I do not feel safe any longer in this truck.
The passenger air bag light may turn on (indicating that the airbag is off) with a seated passenger wearing a seat belt. Nissan dealership cannot diagnose the problem -- brought it in three times in 2009 and 2010.
Air bags off and not functional in 2007 Nissan Frontier. The red air bag light on dash blinks continuously as well as a second indicator on dash to right of steering wheel that indicates that the air bags are not functional. Has been like this for years after Nissan is said to have repaired the problem. The Nissan dealership that I purchased from is no longer in business - autoplace Nissan in buffalo. The Nissan dealership that Nissan has directed me to ( simmons rockwell Nissan ) wants $125 just to diagnose the continuing problem as related to a recall ( NHTSA reference# 08v690000 ). I do not believe that Nissan is acting in good faith regarding this continuing problem as related to a recall.
The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Frontier. While driving 50 mph, the air bags deployed without a crash. The air bag indicator illuminated immediately after all the air bags (front, rear, and the ones near the sunroof) deployed. The manufacturer stated that an air bag technician would call him. The contact feels that the dealer was giving him the run around. The vehicle never lost power when the failure occurred and the vehicle was still at his residence. The contact sustained minor neck and back pains, in addition to facial burns from the air bags. The failure and current mileages were 22,000.
Both lights and attachments by license plate fell out. Both bulbs and attachments were lost while driving 1 or two weeks apart. Airbag light flashing in past month. Have had mechanic check out and states fuse and everything is okay but the airbag light flashes continuously while vehicle is on. Firestone tires blew out at sidewall x2 tires at 30,000 miles. This was the original tires with vehicle bought brand new. Nissan or firestone stated could not reimburse for loss.
