Service engine came on @37,000 mi. , warranty expired at 36,000? dealer cannot solve the problem, I have returned to shop 3 times and now left the van at the shop to see if it can be repaired. I am without a vehicle and do not know if the van is safe or not to drive. Dealership does not tell me anything. I find it strange that this engine check soon" indicator came on 1,000 mi les after warranty expired. Dealership has replaced an oxygen sensor but problem continued. I am afraid to drive the van until this is resolved.

5 Emission Control problem of the 1999 Nissan Quest

This is the fourth time in 3 years that the same warning light has come on and at least the second time I've been told I have "spider webs in my cannister". ( I drive my car daily---don't see that happening). The computer codes, this time around, are: p1446 and p0325. Diagnosis: "needs vent control valve and cannister" " found spider webs in cannister and might need new one in future. " I've no idea what any of this means, but the same warning light with an easy fix (they said they wiped out the webs) indicates that somethins is wrong with the system.
