Nissan Quest owners have reported 3 problems related to transmission solenoid (under the power train category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Nissan Quest based on all problems reported for the Quest.
The three linear solenoids in the transmission fail, causing problems with vehicle shifting. Shifting from park to drive once engine is warm will cause a clunk in transmission. Also, downshift creates transmission surge.
