I brought the car from the dealership when I got the car lou (seller) stated they just brought the battery and the airbag light should go off after being driven a couple of miles the airbag light never came off I went to get the inspected and payed 162 at Nissan to be looked at then 400 at the dealership to be fixed another couple miles the airbag light came on.

There was a recall on this vehicle in October 2015. I called the number asked to call and was told to take it to the dealer close to me. When I did that I took the car to Nissan deals on automobile blvd in silver spring, I was told that someone has to sit on the passenger sit for the airbag light to go off. I asked what will happen when the car is due for inspection . The technician said that will take care of itself before the inspection time. As I writing thos compliant, the light is still showing and on going to the inspection, I was told that the car has failed inspection because of the airbag been disfunctional. I have called Nissan motor and they are giving me the go around and not addressing the issue of the recall that caused my car not to pass inspection. Please I need help as the recall issue was not addressed which has caused the problem now. For my Nissan Sentra 2013.

Two air bag lights on 1 at center interior above radio 2 in driver instrument cluster. Light does not go out even when 200 lbs person is setting in passenger seat. Lights never go out except when key is in off position.

Air bag light on despite car never been crash, call the dealership and they say I have to pay to rapair it. Even though is a safety part.

Every now and then the airbag light with start flashing. But now it's been every time I turn the car on. I've never been in an accident.

The driver airbag light stays on, on the dashboard. It turns on when I start the car and it stays on. One day it was off when I first turned on the car, but as I drove a couple of blocks it turned on. I went to a mechanic and he ran a diagnostics and it came back with code b00a0-00 occupant detection system data 4 sensor - history fault. He suggested I go back to Nissan. Nissan told me there are no recalls and I would have to first pay $180. 00 for them to run a diagnostic test and then pay for any repairs. I am concerned as this is a safety issue, I am not sure if the drivers air bag will deploy. I have never been in an accident with this car and it has low mileage about 12,200 miles. Also, I hade the front passenger air bag status light operation recall fixed in 2016.

Air bag light remains on and blinking continously. The horn also stopped working. Feels very unsafe driving without a horn. Since both the airbag and horn are in the steering wheel and reading through several other similar complaints I would assume they are related. Should be recalled as many other Nissans have been recalled with the same issue.

Driver airbag lights keep turning on and off on the dashboard. It turns on when I start my car or while I'm driving, and stays on. There are some days where it does not come on in the morning, and then it will come on in the afternoon. Right now the light has been on for 2 days in a row.

I was pulled over stating my tags were bad and to go to the dealership to obtain new ones. He then inspected my car and I was on my way aftet we discussed the tierod issue and made an appointment I then recorded on my phone the shake from the steering wheel. I later found out the blinking light was the airbag light not the seat belt light and the check engine light was on as well. The car should not have passed inspection. I got in a small fender bender and the insurance is now totaling my car.

Nissan Sentra 2010 transmission having problems all time and when goes to hill become weakpower to go up . I always give good service for transmission ,but why Nissan doesn't fix problem for years and I did call them factory , my airbag light is on but when I take it to do service at the Nissan they cant fix the issue since is a mechanical defective problem, this is a major safety issue. If involved in an accident my airbag wont get deployed. .

The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 47,419.

Sense I bought the car the air bag light is blinking. With the airbag fuse in the indicator light blinks,with the fuse out it stays on solid. Im not that familiar with how the air bag system works. It is a srs airbag system. What can I do to get the light to turn off and be assured the system is working and will function properly incase of a accident?.

My passenger air bag light will not turn off.

Tl takata recall. The contact owns a 2003 Nissan Sentra. While repairing the headlights, the contact noticed that the air bag wires were cut. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or dealer to confirm the failure. The contact mentioned that the vehicle was serviced per manufacturer recall: ntb13-062 (NHTSA campaign numbers: 13v136000 or 14v361000 (air bags)) in December of 2014. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was unknown.
