Nissan Titan owners have reported 1 problem related to emission control (under the engine and engine cooling category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Nissan Titan based on all problems reported for the Titan.
2005 Nissan Titan with a known poor exhaust and emission control device leads to premature failure and requires replacement prior to or soon after warranty expires. Exhaust manifolds include catalytic convertors and are mounted under stress which causes fracture and emission leaks at the maniflold, into the passenger compartment and not out of the exhaust. Severely cracked manifolds can actually allow the engine to run with the tailpipe closed.
