While driving home in a school at 20 mph the van shifted from drive to nuetral and back to drive . I thought van was killing after hearing a weird noise and looked to see the panel had registerd a problem and thats when I saw it shift from neutral to drive. When I got haome I called the dealer to bring it in and to set up a rental for me . When I got there he said they would only pay for I day of rental, and they would put the van through test and if they could not duplicate the problem then I can coome pick it up. I don't want to drive something that has not been cleared safe for my family and would like to return the vehicle it they can't find a problem.

At 35 mph & above, the transmission emits a whistle or whine. The dealer said its the ring & pinon gears making the noise but all cars do it. If you take your foot off the gas or shift into neutral at 35 mph the noise stops. Its been getting worse in the last month.
