While I am driving I have had intermittent incidents that cannot be replicated. "stabilitrak" warning light has not turned off. I have lost control of my vehicle while driving twice but was able to pull over after a few seconds. The vehicle will lose power to the dash. When I am turning the steering wheel gets very hard to turn and will turn off the radio. This will cause the car to loose power while driving. Then when I turn the car off I will be unable to get the key out or turn the vehicle on. I will have to restart the vehicle. I have replaced the battery twice and the alternator twice and this helped for 2 months then the problem persisted. I also replaced the wheel sensors to no avail. I have taken to 3 mechanics but they cannot replicate the issue. When the vehicle is in park, I will try to turn the vehicle on and then just tap on the brain compartment above the battery and sometimes this works. I have been left stranded more than I care to admit. While driving if the issues are really bad and if I have to drive long distance I will try to use cruise controll but it will not engage.

We just purchased a 2006 Saturn Vue, one owner, low miles (53,000). Had an auto check done and was happy it hasn't been in an accident and the auto check stated that there were no recalls. After having for two weeks the air bag warning light started coming on and indicating that there is a problem with the airbag system. This has happened several times. So I did some research on the internet about the subject and was shocked to see that this is a recurring problem that there seems to be no recall on. The research shows that airbags are not inflating or operating properly. Now I'm concerned about the safety of our vehicle and not having funds to repair such an expensive problem since gm has quit making the Saturn. Please initiate a recall, so many lives depend on this.

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the air bag warning light remained illuminated. The contact also stated that the passenger's side air bag warning indicator would remain illuminated with a passenger seated in the front passenger's seat. The contact stated that there was an abnormal knocking in the air bag housing on the passenger's side dashboard of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed however, the dealer refused to diagnose the vehicle. The contact was informed by the service department that there was no proof of a failure in the air bag of the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage 155,000. Ah.
The airbag warning light comes on when it is hot outside and will stay on for several days while in motion and while stationary, on city streets and on the highway. It may go off for a little bit, such as 5 miles, then come back on or it may stay on. These days can be both hot and humid or just hot with not a lot of humidity. I am concerned because of possible deployment which could cause injury or maybe it won't deploy at all if it was in a crash. I had the computer system read on 6/25/2018 and was told it is showing that it is something in the passenger seat. This has been happening since summer 2015.
The contact owns a 2006 Saturn Vue. While driving approximately 30 mph, the air bag warning light illuminated. In addition, the front passenger air bag warning light delayed to illuminate approximately ten minutes after the seat was occupied. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 97,000.
Driver's side air bag warning light has been going on and off for a few months (if on, it would stay on throughout the entire trip but wouldn't necessarily come on the next time the car is started). More recently, it has been coming on and staying during every trip. This is concerning because it is unclear whether this is a glitch in the electrical system (coming on and off would indicate that it is) or if the air bags aren't working properly.
Passenger air bag indicator on dash indicates the passenger air bag is off and the dash instrument cluster has the air bag warning light illuminated. Periodicaly te system appears to work but shortly thereafter returns to the warning status with person occupying the passenger seat.
The contact owns a 2006 Saturn Vue. While driving approximately 55 mph, the seat belt and air bag warning lights illuminated. In addition, the passenger side air bag was not activated when the seat was occupied. The failure recurred several times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 109,000.
I had work done after steering column due to a faulty sensor causing abs warning light to come on. The. Not long after that my airbag warning light would come on intermittently especially when using my turning signal. The vehicle was taken to dealership twice and was told nothing wrong could be found. So I did some research about other Saturn and gm owners having the same problem and it was determine to be a faulty airbag clock spring or connector. Now I am driving a vehicle where I really don't know if the airbags will deploy if I am in a accident.
The contact owns a 2003 Saturn Vue. While driving at an unknown speed, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 160,000.

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the air bag warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the air bag sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 91,633. Djr.
Tl-the contact owns a 2003 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the gears would not shift into place properly. The contact also stated that she had to depress for longer amounts of times in order to shift the gears after multiple attempts. The air bag warning light was also continuously illuminated. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle had been taken to the dealer for a diagnosis and the mechanic stated that the air bag components were fine and the they were unable to assist the contact the malfunctioned gear shifts because they were no longer able to repair the vehicle for that failure and would have to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer had not been notified of the failure and the approximate failure mileage was 100,000. The VIN was invalid. Gb.
The contact owns a 2006 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who stated that the spring needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure was 41,630.
In may 2014, my 2006 Saturn Vue awd's passenger air bag sensor failed to indicate a passenger was in the passenger seat. The light indicator, signaled off, and the air bag warning light appeared on the dash board. Ever since then, the air bag warning light has remained on and the passenger airbag indicator has remained in the off position, even with a passenger.
The air bag warning lights starter coming on intermittently but are now on at all times. At first, with a passenger present no warning light would display, but after a few minutes the passenger light and dash warning light would begin indicating no passenger in that seat and the dash warning would come on. The passenger air bag off light and warning light would cycle on and off whether there was a passenger or not. Now the passenger air bag off indicator is on all the time and the air bag warning light on the left lower dash is also on all the time. We have no confidence that either air bag will function during an actual frontal crash and, given what appears to be a continuously degrading system/controller, I have no confidence that one or both air bags won't deploy though no valid air bag deployment command was generated due to positive crash sensor inputs.
The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated on the instrument panel and would sporadically illuminate whenever the vehicle was being driven. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who diagnosed that the passenger¿s seat module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 112,500.
The passgenger seat air bag light is on indicating the air bag is not on when a passenger is in the seat. When this first happened the air bag light would come on after a few miles but now it doesn't the warning light stays on all the time. I had it checked at the dealers and they told me that it would cost 1199. 00 dollars to fix. I did not have the money so it did not get fixed. I am thinking that this should be a safety issue and should be a recall on it! will the airbag come on if I am in a crash? I don't like taking that chance.
The airbag warning light came on. The dealer advised the passenger air bag was bad and needed to be replaced. This cost 1,000 dollars.
Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated continuously. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000. Djr.
Air bag warning light comes on intermittently. Stays on for days at times ,sometimes only 15 _ 30 minutes. It happened several months ago ,then started happening again. Concerned that the air bags won't deploy.
Airbag warning light says non-functional on both sides but intermittent. 69 of 129 problems reported with 2006 Saturn Vue are airbag or electrical and many talk about this problem which may relate to heater in passenger seat. This passenger seat heater does not function in my vehicle. Serious safety issue if bags are non-functional. Why no recall.
Airbag warning light won't go off or service light.
Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the air bag warning light illuminated however the failure occurred intermittent. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic whom performed a diagnostic that advised the air bag sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer advised that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number 14v118000 (air bags). The approximate failure mileage was 89,000 and the current mileage was 103,000. Li.
The contact owns a 2008 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the front passenger's air bag warning light illuminated sporadically. The failure occurred whether the passenger's seat was occupied or not. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to have a diagnostic performed but to no avail. The dealer then advised the contact that the vehicle was operating as normal. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 62,000 and the current mileage was 67,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the passenger's side air bag warning light would illuminate whenever the passenger seat was occupied. The failure began when the wire used for the heated passenger's seat failed. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the heat element wire fractured and caused the failure. The dealer advised that the failure was common with his particular model that had the optionally heated seat. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 75,000.
Air bag warning light comes on periodically. Went to a dealership back when it first started happening. Was told it would cost about $300. 00 to check it out. They would not tell me if other customers had brought in Saturns for this type of problem. I believe this is a safety hazard issue from the manufacturer and I should not have to pay to get it corrected. Obviously, this has been a known problem for some time with these vehicles. When will it be addressed?.
The contact owns a 2008 Saturn Vue. The contact stated that the air bag warning light was illuminated for approximately four months. The vehicle was not inspected for the failure or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but provided no assistance. The VIN was unavailable. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
The air bag warning light has been coming on and going off for years. . . I believe it started in 2010 I called the dealer and also contracted gm and no recalls were reported. I then check on it with NHTSA no recalls. It 1st. Started on right passengers side it would warn it was not on ever when someone was sitting in the seat and would come on and go off. Now the light is always on. I see that I am not the only one reporting on it. I do believe that the air bag or air bags will not come on if I have an accident. Not a safe feeling for my wife and I if we would be in a bad accident. Has anyone really looked into the many complaints? on.
Passenger airbag warning light on episodically. Taken to gm service center, 1 June 2010. To date, 2 July 2010, the part has not arrived and was told I could drive the car but without a passenger until the part comes in.
When an adult is seated on the front passenger side, the passenger side airbag sensor flicker on and off. I have received an onstar diagnostic indicating an air bag failure. It does not matter if there is anyone in the seat, the air bag warning lights continue to come on and off. This occurs every time vehicle is operated. I have taken this vehicle to Saturn dealership where purchased and they charged me $190 to diagnose the problem and quoted an additional $1200 to fix. Since this problem has been widely reported on various websites, I believe it is a recall issue and Saturn should pay for repairs.
2006 Saturn Vue airbag warning light is on. When an adult is sitting in the passenger seat this indicator says airbag is off. If you hit a bump sometimes the airbag on light comes on and the warning light goes off (normal condition) but soon after reverts back to the airbag warning light and passenger airbag off light on. Manual says that airbag could deploy for no reason if the warning light is on.
Problem has been happening since around 2008 (maybe sooner). The air bag warning light will come on while driving, and turn off/on at random while driving at almost any speed. I've taken the vehicle to the dealer multiple times and reported the problem, and each time that are unable to reproduce the problem. This is a constant issue, yet the dealer can never find an error code on the computer or reproduce the problem, even when they kept the vehicle for multiple days.
