Air bag light goes on an off on passenger side. Now air bag light stays on all the time. It happened when car was moving and stopped. Took it to shop to get it checked out said it is a defective impact sensor an unable to verify if air bag works . Am getting it replaced as soon as I get the money, just replaced catalatic converter at only 72000 miles. Dealer replaced it for 260. 00 plus part 1200. 00.

My airbag light won't turn off. My dashboard lights won't reset. The staircase light is on, the oil light, the suspension light. I've had electrical problems since purchasing the car which now has 99,972 miles on it.

Driver's side airbag light comes one and off. Sometimes stays on. Worried that it will inflate while driving or not at all in an accident. The light is on while driving and when not moving.

My airbag light stays on the whole time sometimes it blinks on and off and is this going to go off on me is I'm driving down the road I'm very concerned the airbag will pop out.

Takata recall, same as other complaints I have read. The passenger side airbag can be deactivated when someone is actually sitting in the seat. The airbag light comes on the panel intermittently. This is all while driving, I can be driving for an hour and then the light comes on, or be driving for an hour with the light on and then the light goes off. Sometimes it comes on then goes right back off. There does not seem to be any consistency. Sometime someone is in the passenger seat when it does this and sometime the seat is empty.

Takata recall my driver's side airbag light comes on and goes off. It won't come for days and then it will pop on. Then sometimes it will come on and go right back off.

Tried to have the car inspected and they told me it wouldn't pass inspection because of my airbag light on . They did a diagnostic and it said my passenger seat would need to be replaced or get the sensor for the part. Unfortunately the don't make the pieces for the car anymore . You have to go to a junk yard , but even they haven't had any any of the pieces.

Both the driver side and the passenger side air bag warning indicators comes off and goes continuously. I wonder why there was a no recall as so many complaints were placed already.

Takata recall. My airbag light has been randomly going on and off. Some days I will turn my car on and it will stay on for awhile and then I will turn off and start back up and it will be off.

Takata recall I have been getting a "service air bag" indicator. It seems to happen every day when the temperature is extremely hot over 100 degrees. On cooler days, I do not get the indicator light. When it is hot, the light comes on immediately when I start my car. If I drive a distance with the air on, it goes off. This started happening over a month ago. I went to a dealer and they charged me $105 to run a diagnostic test. They said something needs replacing and will cost me $495. I heard from a family member who worked for gm that because this is a safety issue, I should not have to pay for this. Is this true?.

While driving home from a vacation trip we noticed the passenger seat belt light was brightly lit as on. At the same time I noticed the bright light indicator was showing to be on. After a while both lights turned off. In a short while, both lights appeared on again. Later, it happened again. I then took the headlights off of"always on" and the bright light indicator went out but the passenger seat belt light stayed on. When I turned the headlights back on the bright light indicator came back on. The odometer just turned over to the 40k mark. The vehicle doesn't get that much driving. Since we are currently dealing with airbag issues, based on the takata recall, we are very nervous of what we might be dealing with on the Saturn Vue.

I have just paid to replace the passenger seat cushion where the sensor for the passenger airbag is. The passenger airbag light came on in my car and the mechanic discovered that the sensor was not working, therefore they were unable to say whether the airbag would correctly deploy in an accident situation. I am unable to upload the receipt due to file size. The mechanic indicated they could provide details if necessary.

Takata recall. My airbag light has been on consistently for the past few months. Came on one day I got in the car to leave for work it went off and came back on several days later and has been on ever since. I reached out to Saturn to be told there is no recall on this issue, even though I have seen several complaints online about it. I was told I needed to set and appointment to have it looked at, which would cost $100 just to look at it. I have noticed people online paying over $1000 to have the light issue repaired to have the same issue again. Now I cannot pass inspection because of the indicator staying on.

The airbag light will illuminate on the dashboard at any time with no apparent cause (increase in accelerate, fast breaking, etc. ) and will stay on for hours/days, the length of time that the light is on varies with each time the airbag light illuminates. It light turns on anywhere from 4-10 times per week. Shouldn't be responsible to fix an apparent defect in the manufacturing of my vehicle.

I was driving and a truck stopped in front of me very quickly I didn't have time to stop. I hit the back end of the truck. Which had the tailgate lowered . The tail gate went through the whole front end of my car . Completely totaling my car . As a result my leg was pinned I suffered a concussion and whiplash as I hit my head on the staring wheel . My airbags didn't deploy driver or passenger side . The indicator light on the dash said the air bag was off for passenger side . I had a passenger in the car and neither air bag came out causing serious damage to my head and neck.

The vehicle was at the dealership for a different repair. Upon driving the car off the lot on Friday, I noticed that the air bag light was illuminated. I immediately returned to the dealership. On the following Monday, I was told that the air bag module had failed, causing the air bags to become inoperable. This car has experienced major electrical failures including ignition failure/replacement, hvac module failure/replacement, body control module failure/replacement, brake sensor failure/replacement and now the airbag module failure/replacement. This vehicle needs to be taken off of the roads due to severe safety hazards and systems failure.
