Takata recall my family and I were in a roll over accident on August 20th 2019 our airbags did not deploy at impact. We were in motion going 60mph on cournty road 799 going towards george west TX when my vehicle was headed towards a covert and jerked the wheel to the left to avoid the ditch but the steering wheel jerked back to the right sending us on the 2 side passenger wheels and then rolling over 3 times I blacked out and when we stopped the air bags still didnt deploy.

Takata recall. Brake failure. My brakes went out while I was making a right turn off a freeway exit ramp. I tried to brake and pushed the brake pedal to the floor but nothing happened. I had just had rotors and pads put on the vehicle that day. I struck two vehicles and the airbag did not deploy. I struck my head on the steering wheel and my left knee on the dashboard.

Sitting in traffic at a light in drive with brakes applied not moving,1989 chevy pick up truck ,hit my back bumper, the light on my dash indicated the air bags deployed, and a light on my dash said passenger air bag is off,the air bags did not deploy. Took my car to the nearest Chevrolet dealer kendall of nampa idaho, they said code# boo92 5256 came up and they said the heating element for the passenger seat went out (no one was sitting in the passenger seat , and I never use the heated seats ) the dealer said the heated seats are connected to my air bags and my air bags can't be turned on until the heat element for the seat is repaired. I thought that a federal law was passed in the early 1990's that the air bag system was to be on it's own circuit so it can not be turned off by any other circuits? I can't believe this is true I bought this car in 2006 brand new ,and I feel the Chevrolet corporation should be responsible for the repairs. Please respond as fast as you can because I have only one car, and the guy that hit me his insurance is looking into it . Thank god I wasn't hurt or the guy that hit me,thank you for taking the time to look into this matter for me. Have a good day.

I was driving my 2008 Saturn Vue straight forward at 45 mph, a Buick encore turned directly in front of me and I slammed into the back of their vehicle. My car was totaled but my air bag did not deploy! I'm lucky I had my seat belt on or I would have gone through the windshield.

There is a recall on similar models for the same issue, but not mine. My key comes out of the ignition while driving and continues to run. This also occurs while in park. This could cause airbags to not deploy in an accident as well as it has drained my electrical system on a number of occasions because if it is not fully disengaged I can still remove the key in acc mode and drive mode. Also, I have to tug on the gear shift in order to get the key into the proper position to remove it properly. Now¿I cannot even turn my key, as the ignition is seizing. It takes me no less than 10 minutes to get it to click and turn on. I was advised my model is not in the recall though the same and same makes are. I really feel this is a huge issue. Please advise! this has been an issue since I have owned the vehicle and I was told it was a recall, but when I went to my appointment, they advised it is not part of the current recall.

2007 Saturn Vue. The consumers wife was involved in an accident and the air bags did not deploy. His wife was injured and the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
The airbag light began coming on at random times and now remains on. I took it to my mechanic and was told that the entire passenger seat module had to be replaced at the cost of approx. $1,000. 00. With this current malfunction, if I were to be involved in an accident with a passenger, the passenger's airbag would not deploy. This is a safety issue that should be covered/fixed by the manufacturer.
Vue stopped in parking lot other vehicle hit me head on Vue air bags didnt deploy my Saturn Vue key was on floor fell out of ignition I was sent to hospital erie totaled my Vue.

Rear ended vehicle in front of me at intersection. Waiting on confirmation but most likely vehicle will be totaled due to front end damage. With the massive damage to the front the airbag did not deploy.
Was driving to work and we had a lite snow the night before. I hit a slick spot on highway and lost control of the car and hit a telephone poll. The car is now totaled, the front end was completely torn off, drivers seat broke, windshield shattered and was partially on the dash. The airbag did not deploy. This resulted in a head concussion, torn right shoulder and badly bruised knees along with minor cuts to hands and face. The man who towed it away also wondered about this. I'm wondering if there was a recall that I haven't been able to find on my 2005 Saturn Vue?.
I would like to file a complaint about my 2006 Saturn Vue. There have been many instances when the air bag warning lights have illuminated on my dashboard, especially the last 2 months. This warning light appears intermittently and I also lost the illumination of my dashboard one evening. After taking the car to my mechanic, he believes that air bag light is triggered when the seat is moved to another position. He also informed me that when the air bag light is on the air bags would not deploy due to a malfunction with the system. As someone who drives primarily on the freeway at higher speeds, this is very frightening to me! after researching this today, I cannot believe how many other 2006 Saturn Vue owners have this very same complaint! why has there not been a recall for this very serious safety issue on this vehicle?.
Vehicle (2009 Saturn Vue) was travelling southbound through an intersection and was struck on the rear passenger side, by another vehicle (traveling eastbound) who did not stop for a red light. After being struck the Saturn veered toward the southwest corner where it road up a snowbank and then hit a telephone pole on the front drivers quarter/drivers door. The side airbag did not deploy, and the driver suffered a concussion when her head struck the interior of the vehicle.
This time after being diagnosed again, with no founded reason for the throttle sticking (at mileage 130000 at the shop, the throttle stuck on hubby while he was driving only 40 mph on the snow covered roads. Throttle stuck and went to over 60mph, at that point he was no longer concerned about the tachometer nor speed. The car stopped only after hitting the guardrails. Police, medics and tow truck on scene, front end of the car was torn off to the ground, unsure of what all damage is done at this point. However the airbags did not deploy either! now this is truly a major incident and we shall see how my insurance company wants to handle the issue. I will not be looking for another Saturn, that is for certain.
Short;y after a complete dealer service I noticed that the airbag light was illuminated on the dash. I took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that a sensor was bad on the passenger seat. I was also told that there was possibility that the airbag might not deploy due to the light being illuminated. I told the dealer that this should be replaced under warranty they declined and told me that "things sometimes wear out" I contacted gm regional they declined to fix this under warranty. So I reluctantly paid for the repair totaling $968. 52. I believe that this is wrong and a failure of a critical safety issue.
Traveling at 65mph the key & key fob fell out of the ignition. I was able to slow down but had lost power steering, power brakes, and the airbags would not have deployed. I was able to get to the shoulder of the road.

Airbag warring light on dash came on and then went off. Over a period of several months the light would come on more often. Now the light is on almost all of the time. I believe if a crash occurs, the airbags would not deploy and injury or death may occur. This should be a safety recall.
For the past year I have been having a very difficult time inserting the key in the ignition and turning the key to turn on the car. Once I get the key in I have to jiggle it over and over until the key is able to turn. Sometimes it takes me anywhere from 5-15 minutes. However lately when the key is finally in it gets stuck and it does not allow the key to be released leaving me stranded. I also noticed the airbag sensor light turns on and off randomly while I am driving the car and while there is a passenger in the car. My biggest concern is if the airbag fails to deploy in case of an accident. Another concern of mine is that sometimes when I am driving the car it accelerates itself for a moment or two and it is very scary. I am currently unable to drive my car because I am scared, especially because I drive my 5 and 1 year old everyday. I am unable to get the car looked at this time due to financial reasons. My Saturn Vue is not included in the recall however I really wish it were because all of the problems I am experiencing are very similar to that of the gm vehicles that were recalled. Please investigate the Saturn Vue 2007 ignition problem, airbag light problem, and accelerating problem. Thank you so much.
I was driving on the interstate (i90) near rockford IL when all of the sudden my side curtain air bags deployed. There was no accident and the front air bags did not deploy. The seat belts locked up and the lights started flashing. This issue has not been resolved through gm. My insurance company says they wont fix it because it was not in an accident. Gm has not been helpful at all. Gm had an independent investigator out. The investigator said it was obvious it was not in an accident. Gm has been very vague in its response. Only saying that they believe the air bag system is ok, "something must have made it go off".

The contact owned a 2008 Saturn Vue xe. The contact stated that she was rear ended while driving 55 mph. As a result, the vehicle spun around and rolled 20 feet down into an inbankment. Upon impact, the side airbags did not deploy and the front passenger seat belt failed to retain the passenger. The driver suffered a severe contusion and abrasions. Driving on highway in 55-mph zone, forced to lane change by merging traffic travelling fast. Had to come back into first lane as another car sped up in passing lane at same time we moved over. Nowhere to go; car spun out, rolled and hit hill on side of highway. Vehicle had front airbags (driver and passenger), and side curtain airbags for front and rear passengers. Airbags never deployed throughout accident. Vehicle was totally demolished. Thank god, we are alive, but total demolition with no airbag deployment? how and why did this malfunction?.
I bought a 2007 Saturn Vue from a dealer as well and my air bag on the passenger side comes on a lot to. It is on when no one is sitting in it but turns off when someone does sit in it. No matter the size or weigh of that person sometimes it will say it is on sometimes it will say it has been turned off. Not sure if there is really anything wrong with the airbag or it is just a light telling you there is. On-star says that airbags are fine though. Little concerned if there is something wrong with the airbags because that is one heck of a lawsuit they will have on there hands if we are to ever get in an accent and the airbags did not deploy. If it was indeed a manufacturing issue and it seems to be the case here, it should be fixed for free and fast for safety reasons. ## VIN failed ## 2007 Saturn Vue ##.

My 2009 Saturn Vue hybrid was purchases in Jan 2009. Since that time my car battery has died 4 times. When I took it to the Saturn dealer in savannah they said there was nothing wrong with the battery but my hybrid battery had a recall. After 10 days the vehicle was released back to me with a new hybrid battery however, the 12 v continues to die. The gm dealer in hinesville GA said that batteries will die in extreme conditions. I live in se georgia. I have no gps, radar detector, mps player , dvd player etc plugged into my Vue to account for weather or battery drain. I purchased this vehicle to transport my granddaughter to doc appt, soccer, shopping and daycare knowing that by uses a hybrid I was being kinder to the environment. When my battery died last night I contacted on star to run a diagnostic test. On stat did not find any issues with the batter however, my airbags would not deploy in case of an accident. There is something very wrong with the battery or electrical system of the Vue hybrid and my dealership is not being forthright about the larger issue. Eventually my warranty will run out and then I will be stuck with a very expensive lemon! please help!.
I have a 2006 Saturn Vue and I have several problems with my car. When I had a car wreck either of the air bags did not deploy but the lights stay on. I had to pay 596. 00 to replace my key ignition and sometimes it still sticks. My driver door will not open and one of the seat belts in the rear has not worked properly. I see that they are recalling other Saturns but not mines.
Airbabs - mulitple impact on passenger side and front. Causing passenger fron t wheel to break at axle and two rear wheels to bend under fraime. Airbags did not deploy.
Hit a deer head on @ 50 mph, front end totally smashed in, air bags did not deploy.
The contact owns a 2006 Saturn Vue. While examining the vehicle the contact noticed that the air bag warning light appeared on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to the dealership where the contact was informed that the front passenger air bags would not deploy due to a malfunction in the front passenger seat heating mechanism. There were no prior warnings. The current and failure mileages were 49000. Updated 4/13/10 the air bag light would also illuminate when someone sat in the front passenger seat. Updated 06/17/jb.
My wife's 2006 Saturn Vue went out of control on a rainy road and hit a tree at direct impact. The airbag never deployed. Thank god she and my son wasn't killed and only suffered minor injuries.

On 9/7/09, I was involved in a rollover accident in a 2003 Saturn Vue. The air bags did not deploy on the passenger or driver's side, causing my face to hit the steering wheel. I blacked out behind the wheel and the car flipped and then wrapped around a tree.
