The contact owns a 2006 Saturn Vue. While driving 40 mph, the contact slammed on the brakes and struck a dog. The front fender and bumper were damaged. The contact was not injured. The fog lights were detached from the vehicle and the air bag warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The air bags failed to deploy. The dealer stated that the air bags did not deploy because the seat heater circuit was connected to the air bag sensor. Repairs could not be made to the air bag or air bag sensor because the element burned out. The failure and current mileages were less than 50,000.

My 16 year old son was driving. My 13 year old daughter was his passenger. He was driving a 2002 Saturn Vue. He hit a tree, dead-on, going 40 mph. The airbags did not deploy. Firefighters, police, ambulance folks, body shop rep: they all said the same thing and look at me with amazement that this happened (or didn't happen). I bought the car with the impression it was equipped with working airbags. If a vehicle hits someone, dead-on, going 40mph, I expect airbags to work, especially when the vehicle was sold to me using this as a feature. Last night, a week after our accident, we passed yet another Vue accident so I stopped out of curiosity. This lady was traveling 40-45 mph and rear ended another car. Guess what, her airbags did not deploy either. I suppose I'll have to start my own little "Saturn" investigation service as I intend to find out just how often this happens. This lady had a 2007 Vue, so I do not accept my car being older or anything else as an excuse of something that looks to me like was defective to start with.

I ran into a building and my airbags did not deploy. Front end hit- broke into wall, brick column smashed front of car. I believe there is something wrong with the air bag system in my vehicle. It's a 2007 Saturn Vue--purchased in February of 2007.
Involved in a front end collison on highway and airbag failed to deploy. Vehicle repaired but approximately 3 years ago the airbag light came on and stays on. There is also a scraping noise coming out of steering coulmn when turning the wheel. Internet research indicates this is a widely known problem. No recall notice ever sent out by gm.

The contact owns a 2003 Saturn Vue. While driving 40 mph, the contact veered off the road and crashed into several trees. The vehicle rolled and the air bags failed to deploy. As entering the intersection of hwy 173 and bi pass 534. Other vehicle turned left in front of me. I had the green light. My daughter was driving my 2005 Saturn Vue. We were going between 40 and 50 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone. The front center to the left front corner collided with the other vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The insurance company said sometimes they just don't. At the seen of the accident the emt told me I should get out of the car if I was able to. Because the air bags might still deploy, as they have been known to do so before. The insurance company refuses to pay for new air bags. Stating that there is no danger of them unexpectedly deploying. My complaint is that the air bags did not deploy and they might unexpectedly.

: the contact stated while traveling 40 mph with prior braking, the vehicle hit another head on. The entire front end was damaged and the airbags did not deploy. A police report was taken at the scene. The vehicle was towed to an auto body shop. The manufacturer sent a representative to inspect the vehicle and it was inconclusive on whether or not the airbags should have deployed.
Driving northbound on highway 116. Vehicle in front of me started to slow down and slightly pulled off to the right of the highway. At the time before the car in front of me started to slow down I had the cruise control set at 70 mph when the car in front of me started to slow down. I slowed down to about 60-65 mph and pulled off the road slightly. There was a semi truck traveling south bound on the highway I thought either there was something in the road ahead of the car in front of me or the truck was in our lane. The roads were dry and the sun was coming up. As I began to come back on the road my right front tire was feeling wobbly and I either hit the curb on the bridge or a piece of metal causing me to lose control of the vehicle. I ran head on to the southbound side of the bridge then started spinning and hitting the bridge several times. I finally ended up back on the northbound side of the bridge about 3/4 of the way down the bridge. With my front end hitting that side of the bridge. What concerns me is that my air bags never deployed in the vehicle and I sustained neck, shoulder and right knee injuries. At this time the vehicle is at a local body shop with the insurance, and company that makes the vehicle investigates the damage. I have filed a complaint with Saturn letting them know that I believe that this is a product defect.
During an accident in which the front end of the vehicle was heavily damaged, the airbags did not deploy. There was no explanation from the dealership as to why the bags did not deploy.
I was stopped at a stop sign behind another vehicle in my 2004 Saturn Vue when a suburban rear-ended me at approximately 40+ miles per hour. I then hit the SUV that was stopped in front of me - and we both went approximately 100 feet forward from the stop sign. The impact totaled my truck to the point of the rear was crushed to the back seat and the front frame was broken in half with about a 1 inch gap. My issues with the safety are: the drivers side seat broke nearly all the way back into the rear seat to the right with the seat sliding back and forth. The air bags did not deploy - yes, I was originally rear-ended - however the impact to the front was extensive as well. The driver's seat belt did not engage causing me to hit my face and head against the steering wheel causing severe neck pain (a cervical sprain) and a broken nose requiring surgery to repair.
Another car going wrong way on free way struck my vehicle and I ended up striking the median with the front of my car the air bags in my car did not deploy I was driving a 2004 Saturn Vue standard shift vehicle.
While traveling at 60 mph consumer was involved in a collision, where he struck a cement barrier on the road. Upon impact, the air bags did not deploy. No other vehicles was involved, however, consumer's vehicle was totaled.
While driving at 65 mph on a rainy day consumer applied the brakes to slow down the speed, but the brakes failed. Vehicle rolled down twice, and landed upside down on an embankment. Upon impact, airbag did not deploy. Driver sustained minor injuries.
When driving at 35 mph another vehicle did not stop at a stop sign. This caused consumer's vehicle to t-bone the other vehicle on the passenger's side. Passenger's side air bag did not deploy directly in the middle of the seat, but air bag deployed towards the left of the seat. Consumer had the vehicle towed to the dealer.
Consumer was driving north on a highway at about 30 mph when another vehicle lost control coming south and collided head on with consumer's vehicle. Consumer was wearing seat belts, but the air bags did not deploy. Consumer sustained a slight sternum fracture and other minor bruises to the arms and neck. The police arrived but no one was cited at the time.
On March 14, 2003, my family and I were traveling w on hwy 138 in stockbridge, GA. We had a green light and were proceeding through when a Ford explorer pulled in front of us. We hit him in the passenger side, squarely across the front of our vehicle. We were traveling approximately 45 mph when we hit and the two front airbags did not deploy. The damage to our vehicle is equal across the front and the front end of the vehicle is crushed all the way to the front tires. Our vehicle was a 2002 Saturn Vue. No one was injured seriously, but we were told when we bought the car that the airbags deploy in front end collisions.
