While the vehicle was in the driveway and key in the accessory mode vehicle was able to come out of gear without applying the brakes. As a result, vehicle rolled forward into a fence.

2 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem of the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 03/15/2004

Child was able to move the gear position indicator. It could be easily moved from drive to neutral without depressing the button on gear shift. Dealership was called about the problem. Dealership stated that this was a normal condition.

3 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem of the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 08/03/1999

All of the gearings had to be replaced two times. First replacement was at 10000 miles. Dealership has advised that problem existed because weight limit was exceeded. Consumer was not exceeding weight limit. Right rear axle seal and another seal on drive shaft failed.

4 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem of the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe

Failure Date: 12/25/1997

While vehicle was in motion, the gear shift hit by passenger and went completey back to park. This caused the rear differential to lock up and driver lost control of vehicle.
