Abs, brake failure, dragging, worn and disc pads/rotors. Dealer replaced brake pads and resurfaced rotors to remove blued hotspots rotors.
During heavy braking the truck pulls to the right and the brakes start to fade. The dealer has replaced the brake pads . Consumer states that the truck has been into the dealer 5 times about the brakes.
Excessive wearing of brake pads, brake shoes due to the intermittent engagement of the power booster while driving. Took vehicle when it first had this problem to two different Chevrolet dealerships and was told that because I could not prove the booster's premature triggering that it would not be covered under warranty, in other words they told me if we don't see it as being broken we aren't fixing it. . They did not acknowledge the existance of a safety bulleting saying in fact that the power booster was prone to failure. Since then I have had to change out the brake pads twice at my own expense. I replaced all parts with gmac factory parts and replaced the power booster with a gm rebuilt power booster.
