Low speed activation of abs brake system.
I have a 2000 Tahoe and am having a problem with the abs as described in the recall. Gm is telling me it was not included in the recall because of the manufacturing location of my vehicle. This is absurd. I live in an area where road salt is used and winter corrosion is possible. This is a dangerous issue and should include all vehicles regardless of where they were manufactured. How does gm know where the vehicle went after it was purchased, they don't. I almost hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk a few days because the abs came on while I was going very slow.
Safety bulletins, 1000062 (020525006) and 1000749 (020525006a) both describe a problem with the antiskid. When I took my vehicle in I was told that it does not come up on the computer so they refuse to fix it. It has the problem so how do I get it fixed by the dealer (gm)?.

Experienced unwanted anti-lock brake system (abs) activation twice with 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe owned in alabama. Activations occurred in 2004 and 2007. Crash can occur due to increased stopping distances during low speed brake applications. Abs module replaced twice by certified auto mechanics.

- the contact stated while driving the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe at 35 mph and while slowing down to a stop sign with foot on the brake pedal the vehicle felt as if it the brakes were being pumped. The brakes would only slow the vehicle, it would not stop it at a slow rate of speed. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic, who determined that the abs was inadvertently activating at a lower speed. My vehicle exhibits the same problem as NHTSA recall #05v379000 . I purchased the vehicle new in portland maine and operated it there for 1 year. I am active duty navy and hence was not a residence of maine. I did not title the vehicle in maine. Gm will not honor the recall since the vehicle was never titled in one of the target states.

No brakes at low speed on my Tahoe. The truck was recalled in 2006 for anti-lock brake issues.
When traveling 10 mph or under the anti-lock brakes system starts making it hard to stop.
Started noticing approx. 1 year ago that the antilock brakes activate at low speeds (less than 10 mph) when it shouldn't (dry conditions, clear road) which makes coming to a complete stop a scary and questionable event.
