Replaced alternator two times within a year and now need a third. Started June 2018 while away on a trip, all lights on dashboard light up with no warning signs. Everything failed. , brakes barely worked to stop, no power steering, windows would not go up/down, no air, no flashes. . . . Etc. The second time July 2019, battery light comes on, then goes off. A day later had the battery replaced. Although the battery tested well according to the company, they placement due being under warranty. The following week, again the battery light comes on during highway speed and car begins the same issues as before. Car was towed to dealership. Dealership states it's the alternator once again. Here we are December 2019 with the same issues. . . . Not to mention the passenger airbag light never goes off as the dealer states it's nothing.

Drove for several hours, but again would not start after it was shut off. Mechanic diagnosed faulty totally integrated power module, replaced at a cost of nearly $1,500. After replacement of tipm, new issue of airbag indicator light is on and several 12-volt power ports inside the car no longer work, both new conditions since tipm replacement.

Airbag light would light up on and off and then all of sudden stayed on suddenly. Took the van to the dealership and now saying the passenger side airbag wiring harness is bad and needs replaced. But before the solid light when I moved the drivers side seat the light would go off or come on. How can airbag harness go bad.

Airbag light comes on and stays on when I start the car.
The airbag light on our town and country comes on from time from to time, but seems to go off after driving the van for a while. Every time we have taken it into the dealership, the light will be on but by the time we get to the dealership 30 miles away the light is off. With the light off the dealership cannot diagnose that problem. I am concerned that this is a safety issue in the case the air bags are ever deployed. This has been going on for the last couple of years.

The technician reset the clockspring, but the failure recurred. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 143,000.

Air bag light constantly on, no horn no cruise control no radio control. Went to dealer for recall on airbag steering wheel clock spring and was told I would have to pay for diagnostic and also pay for part " in case it was not covered. This is not how a safety recall should be performed to my understanding.

Suspension rattles, shocks and struts rattle, having trouble starding engine on often, remote start fails with no indication of low battery, engine stalls before starting. Check engine light on, airbag light on.
Twice this year, air bag indicator illuminated on dashboard. In January, the passenger side seatbelt assembly needed to be replaced. Now in sept, the airbag indicator came on again. This time the seatbelt and wiring assembly needs replaced on the driver side. The repairs to these safety features are costing >$1200 this year. The vehicle is 5 years old.
I was driving on the highway (going at least 65 mph) and the headrests on the front passenger seat exploded. The air bag light on the dash had been going on and off for the past 2 weeks, I notified Chrysler via telephone with no response. About 1. 5 weeks later the airbag light returned on (intermittently) and then I heard another loud "pop" in the drivers seat but nothing exploded open.
I noticed that at random times the airbag light would illuminate, even while there was no one in the seat. I called the dealership and took it in but because at the time it was not on, they said they could not do anything about it. Then after some time with the airbag light going on and off the cruise control will no longer work. It does not even recognize that you are pressing the button. Dealership was also notified in this case, and because my warranty expired at 60000 miles and the vehicle is at 67000 it is not covered. It does not matter if the vehicle speed, the airbag lights just go on and off. It does not always come on.

Car parked and off in driveway. After exiting vehicle but before closing door, drivers headrest popped and front section separated from rear section on right side. Visual indication of plastic bracket sheared. No power on vehicle. Upon testing ignition associated airbag light illuminated indicating failure of airbags or ahr. No collisions in vehicle history or associated with event. No deployment of passenger ahr.
Air bag light has come on and won't go off. Rear passenger sliding door is locked down and cannot be opened.
The airbag light comes on and off. No rhyme or reason. Multiple owners having the same issue. Also airbags didn't deployed on any accident, we have had two where we were struck from behind and airbag didn't deploy. Chrysler is forcing owners to fix this issue instead of doing a recall or investigation. I don't feel safe in vehicle knowing the airbag is malfunctioning.
The airbag it's been turning off and on constantly. I hadn't have any type of accident at all but now every time I'm driving on the street and the highway the airbag light turns on and stays on for most part of my driving. This is the only car I have and I drive all the time the light will turn on mostly while I'm driving and sometimes while it's park the light stays on.

Airbag light is staying on when driving.
Tl the contact owns a 2008 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator flashed and remained lit. The vehicle was unable to pass inspection due to the failure. In addition, the key fob failed to lock and unlock the doors. While the contact was inside the vehicle, if the electric function button was pressed, the contact had to open the doors manually from the inside. A dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was not available.
I have had issues with my air bag light coming on over the last year. I took it to a dealer in illinois in September and they got it to shut off but it started going on and off a couple of months ago and now it is on permanently.
Airbag light is on always.
The airbag light on my 2013 Town & Country will not turn off. And I cannot determine what is causing the airbag light to turn on. The dealer could not determine the cause of the airbag light either.
Airbag light is onshowing red.
Airbag light is on. Afraid to drive because bags may activate.
Upon turning on the ignition of my vehicle in the garage, the airbag indicator light went on in the dashboard. While driving whether it be on the hwy/city the light stayed on and wouldn't turn off. This car hasn't been in an accident according to my knowledge. I took it to skiba auto repair and they thought that it was just the wire, which is common for this type of repair. But it wasn't and upon further investigation, they discovered that it was the passenger side air bag which will need to be replaced at a dealer. If the car is involved in a collision the passenger airbag may not inflate resulting in injury or death. There is no current air bag replacement recall for this VIN. . .
Airbag light will not go off, no other vehicle issues.
Tl the contact owns a 2014 Chrysler town and country. While driving unknown speeds, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to jay malone motors (po box 669, hutchinson, mn 55350, (320) 587-4748) where it was diagnosed that the air bag wiring harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired because the contact felt that the $500 repair cost was unacceptable for a five year old vehicle. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 50,185.
Clock spring disconnected drivers airbag. Air bag light has been on for some time even the last lime it was at the dealer, when the cruise control stopped working found the clock spring has broken and disconnected drivers airbag. Internet shows this is a very common problem.
Airbag light stays on meaning system in not functioning. Impact sensors have been replaced after which the light came on intermittently. I believe this vehicle should have the l01 recall based off of NHTSA campaign# 16v047.
