3 Brake Pedal And Linkage problem of the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country

Failure Date: 03/02/2007

While accelerating under "cruise control", the brake pedal becomes unusable and the car cannot be slowed down or stopped unless you turn off the control. This is something you do not have time to do in a "panic" situation. I have complained about this since day one. The dealership has not been able to duplicate the incidents, and has no information on what may cause it let alone how to fix it. I have had passengers see me use both feet on the brake pedal in an attempt to slow down. Please note that this happens while driving within speed limits and under good driving conditions. The latest incident will be reported below.

4 Brake Pedal And Linkage problem of the 2004 Chrysler Town & Country

Failure Date: 09/02/2004

The brake pedal shredded completely off and fell onto the floor of the vehicle, when it was depressed at less than 10 mph. This resulted in the vehicle rear ended a motorist. The manufacture has admitted that this occurred because the metal part that is welded to the brake pedal was badly welded at the factory.
