While applying the brakes there was a clanking noise. The brake pads/calipers, and rotors were replaced. The noise problem was on going and was only present upon the application of the brake from low speed, but currently it only happens from low speed, but present at almost every brake application. Two separate mechanics stated that they could not identify the problem. The noise was a combination of clanking and grinding.

While stopping at a red light the brakes failed, the vehicle proceeded through the red light and struck another vehicle, driver sustained left leg injuries and the driver of the other vehicle sustained collar bone injuries. Nlm.

Abs problems. Brakes go out every six months on the front left side. Rotors, and calipers have to be replaced. When applying the brakes the van skids. This condition caused a crash in 2/99 and 2/00. Dealership is not able to correct problem.
