The contact owns a 2018 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the u-connect 8. 4 screen was delaminating with a ghosting affect to the infotainment system and all aspect of the vehicle controls. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer due the repair cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to a dealer. The contact mentioned that the manufacturer had provided a low-key reset procedure however, the failure recurred. The failure mileage was approximately 43,000.
