1 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem of the 2015 Dodge Dart

Failure Date: 03/01/2018

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that when the vehicle was purchased from vann Dodge Chrysler Jeep ram, 899 s delsea dr, vineland, NJ 08360, 856-794-9700, 1-856-794-1493 or 1-(888) 895-1917, within less than a 6 month period the vehicle had stalled numerous times with no warning. The vehicle stalled more than twice, a passerby assisted and noticed as well as an independent mechanic inspected that the oil had been completely empty. There was no oil warning light illumination when the failure was happening. The dealer kept refilling the oil with no solution to prevent the failure. In addition, there was a drastic loss of power and speed pertaining to the transmission assembly. The dealership had provided an oil consumption test however they had not provided a permanent fix to repair the vehicle as the failure had continued to recur. There was no mention of NHTSA campaign number: 15v542000 (power train), 16v113000 (electrical system), 28 TSB on power train, 43 TSB on the electrical system and 3 engine/18 engine and engine cooling, had a warranty but was uncertain as to the cause of the failure and a solution to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired yet. The manufacturer was notified of the failure to determine if they may be able to provide a remedy and if not a buy back due to the multiple failures. 2 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem of the 2013 Dodge Dart

Failure Date: 08/24/2013

Transmission service light came on, traveled approximately 10 more miles stopping for gas. Would not go into reverse, but did after cooling down for 10 minutes more. Resumed travel on interstate traveling 6 more miles, then engine disconnected from transmission. Called road service and dealer finally found problem after 3 days. Vehicle also disconnected for dealer service rep twice. Vehicle computer uploaded again with revision and then would not start. Part is not readily available and still waiting 10 days after problem for part after it was identified.
