I pulled in parking lot and went to put the car in park, engine light came on, all the gear letters turned red and it didn't display, by the fuel gauge, which gear I was in like it usually does. I didn't actually know if I was in park because all lights on shifter were lit in red. When I tried to shift up to park as much as I could it made a clicking noise each time. So I turned the car off. . . And then back on. Happened again a week later. I took it to have computer analysis run on it. Indicated a fault in the transmission range sensor electrical circuit. Checked recall on vehicle. Shows there is a recall on transmission problems possible on Dodge Darts 2013-2015 models.

Tl- the contact owns a2015 Dodge Dart. The contact stated that while driving the "service transmission" warning message had displayed and the vehicle began stall and hesitate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who changed the transmission sensor which caused the transmission failed. The transmission was replaced but the abs sensor illuminated. After replacing the abs sensor the replacement transmission failed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 400. Jft.
