I purchased the car July 2017 and has been at the dealer 5 times due to problems. I had a reoccurring issue with the battery light coming up, the dealer found no issues with the battery. March 2018 the battery sign lit up followed by a slew of other signals, including a power steering lock signal, the car started shaking and the power steering locked. I was at the light making a left when this happened. I was able to pull the steering wheel hard enough to make the left and luckily found a parking lot where I could park since I was in a heavily transited area. Attached is a picture I took after I was able to safely park the car. The car was towed to the dealership and they found no issues with the car, I had to pay $250+ for this. November 2018, the bluetooth does not connect, the odometer is blinking continuously and the car shakes when at a stop. The dealership has had the car for three weeks and turns out to be that the bluetooth console needed to be changed ($900+ cost), a tune up was needed badly ($400+) and there was believed to be a problem with a piece of the transmission that was causing the car to shake. The powertrain warranty would cover the cost of this last issue if it was found to be that this was the problem. If it was found that the transmission part was not causing the shaking, we would need to cover the $600+ cost for the labor. We are in process of dealing this matter with a manager at the dealership, since we do not want to keep this car.

The entire car is shaking. The car is rough idling. I had my foot all the way on the gas and it wouldn't go above10 miles per hour. This happened before and the dealership fixed it and said the cylinders were misfiring.

Car often shudders and jerks when shifting gear from park. Often times it will not shift gear and presents a message saying shift to neutral and then shift to drive or reserve. this message comes up when in park or sometimes when stopped at a light. Such as stopped at a light. Sometimes when it presents this messages, even after shifting to neutral several times, it will still not move afterwards while in drive or reverse.
When my car in the winter time warms up the fan doesn't work unless I open up my engine hood and it cools down now this can be anywhere from 2 minutes me running my car attendance doesn't matter when I turn on the air-conditioning it shakes my whole car I am told it is nothing I don't believe it my transmission when I press on the gas because very slow and jerks a whole car and emotion I told them about this since I had the car and my brakes on the first car that I had my brakes went out and it after I kept complaining about it for six weeks and then they traded me for the 2014 Dodge Dart my car has 22500 miles on it none of this should be happening when I take it to my Dodge dealership they think that it's nothing in pretty much tell me I got what I paid for I'd like to know if there's been other complaints about the engine transmission and the brakes not to mention a whole lot of other things that I don't even want to go into it says below to put down a date I'm going to put down a date for this is just an ongoing thing always.
Takata recall while my vehicle is in motion on street or highway my vehicle begins to jerk. Also when coming to a stop or having to use my brakes before making or coming to a turn I have to use excessive force to come to a complete stop or to slow down, when doing that my car begins to shake.
The car has been having several electrical problems. Fuel gauge will not register a full tank of gas after been filled right away. Volume controls will increase and decrease on their own sporadically. Buttons on the steering wheel stop functioning off and on. Also, lately we have been having issue with car shaking and stuttering while driving. Have taken it to dealership 2 times in the last week. Will be visiting again this week.
As we were crossing a large bridge in new york city, the engine light came on. Within a minute after the light came on, the engine light started blinking, and the car began to run very roughly. Smoke began to come from the vents, the car began to shake and overheat. After another minute, the car lost all power and became more difficult to control. We stopped at the closest area to pull off. Chrysler roadside assistance had us wait for two hours before notifying us that our car was located 100ft shy of being able to be towed. We managed to fudge the car another 100ft, and reached a side street where we needed to wait another two hours to be towed. This was may 11th. The verdict from the local dealer is that the entire bottom end fell off after just over one year of typical use (less than 17000 miles), and the engine must be rebuilt (crankshaft, engine block, everything). We still have not received an estimated time of completion, and only estimates of when the engine will be in (over a month later) detachment or partial detachment of these components is extraordinarily dangerous, particularly at the speed that we were moving, and we were very fortunate not to be injured, or be in an accident. We were even lucky to get off of the bridge.
