Tl the contact owns a 2012 Ford Edge. The contact stated that the turbo charger failed while driving. The check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to paul clark Ford (464046 state rd 200, yulee, FL 32097) and was diagnosed that a new catalytic convertor was needed prior to replacing the turbo charger. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not under recall. The manufacturer provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
