Issues with my 2025 f150 tremor when I applied my brakes firmly, really not that hard ( not hard enough to skid) my truck locked into park and I wasn’t even able to put it back into a gear with a flashing message! couldn’t get it back into gear for about 30 sec to 60 sec until a message stopped flashing. Had this happened in traffic or on a freeway this could have been really bad especially in traffic. Very dangerous!.

The instrument panel cluster flickered and flashed for months consistently after the recall repair was complete then failed just outside of bumper to bumper warranty. Yes its available for inspection. When failure occurred the turn signals wipers and collision safety systems all stopped working simultaneously. The vehicle is at the dealer and has been confirmed. The component is still in the vehicle. No warning lamps symptoms have been present for the entire 1 year of ownership but became more predominate after recall software update.
The ac will quit on long trips and if I have fogged windows the windshield will not defog. This has happened on several occasions. Ford knows about this and has sent out a technical software update but wants customers to pay for this tps 242212. . On some vehicles the sensor is on the wrong place and Ford has the mechanic to put a spacer in there. This cost $2000-$3000. Ford should take ownership and pay for the fixes. The coil is freezing up because the system is getting faulty information from the computer.

Steering knuckle broke while driving which caused the driver to lose control and crash into parked car. After the crash, we reviewed what happebed and noticed the front passenger side wheel, rotors, control arms and brake line was completely removed from the truck. Also the steering knuckle was broken. This is what caused driver to lose control and crash.

Ford has a known issue with the 2019 f150 eco boost cam phaser rattling. They replaced once and it failed again. They now refuse to repair the fix that should have corrected the initial cam phaser issue. They continue to use faulty parts.

We received the safety recal 26v237 in may. Today 6/16/26, while driving the vehicle, it began acting like the recal said, however, the truck failed and will not start. My husband went and purchased a battery first because we didn't realize it was the recall at first. We cannot go without the vehicle. We will need to have someone tow the car once there is a repair available, however, in the mean time, we need a loaner/replacement truck. We called the number on the form, but they could not help with a failed vehicle and we called the manufacturer, but there is no button for the vehicle is failed and we need help. It hung up on us because they don't have a fix for the defect, there is nothing on the warning about what to do when the vehicle fails and you don't yet have a fix.
As I was driving in to my driveway slowly, and applying the brake my 2023 Ford F-150 accerated and lunged forward.

The turn signal stalk on my 2023 Ford F-150 lightning intermittently requires excessive force to manually cancel after turns and lane changes. The stalk self-cancels normally roughly 50% of the time, but when the steering wheel does not rotate far enough to trigger automatic cancellation the driver must manually return the stalk to center. The condition is most reliably reproduced when the cabin has been elevated in temperature for an extended period and subsides once cooled. The issue predominantly affects right-hand turns and lane changes. The affected component is the turn signal stalk switch pack (multifunction switch), available for inspection. Diagnostic scanning confirmed dtc b124c stored in the sccm. Based on my research this code indicates a turn indicator stalk switch pack fault. The safety risk is threefold: first, a stalk that does not self-cancel sends false signals to other drivers. Second, manually forcing the stalk back to center diverts driver attention from vehicle control. Third, when the stalk releases under applied force it does so suddenly and without warning, and if the driver's hand is on the steering wheel this can cause an involuntary steering input, risking unintended lane departure at highway speeds. I am the second owner, having purchased from a dealership at approximately 60,000 miles. The defect was present at purchase and has worsened progressively to approximately 76,000 miles. The vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer as it is outside warranty. No warning lamp is present; however dtc b124c is confirmed via diagnostic scanning. I documented the issue in a video post which received responses from numerous affected owners: [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
My 2019 F-150 has only 25,000 miles. The dealership has confirmed transmission failure requiring a $9,000 replacement. A transmission is expected to last significantly longer than 25,000 miles. I have maintained the vehicle. This is an extraordinary premature failure on a critical part of the vehicle and it poses a massive safety liability.
Excessive oil consumption. I have to check and refill every single week since I drive over 100 miles/day, it is ridiculous how much oil burns. Transmission at high speed acts very erratic, when downshifting is like it doesn't know what do do and when it finally decides to down shift, it kicks so hard that feels like it's going to brake in pieces, even at low speed the shifting is very hard, not smooth at all. Radio carplay is useless, every time I try carplay, it works but I am not able to use the volume, so I have the feature but can't use it.
Transmission downshifted without notice.
Windshield seal failure. Water intrusion into the electrical system. The horn does not work and intermittent starting problems. Water intrusion caused mold in numerous components. Truck was checked over at local Ford dealer. Waiting for parts to make repairs. Repair quote available if needed.

In April 2026 the recall on this truck was done to correct a fault for the trailer disconnect. I hooked up my travel trailer for the 1st time here in June and the false warning still came on 5 times during my trip. The software update that was done is not solving the problem. Warning light comes on, says trailer disconnected while the trailer is still connected and all connections are plugged in.
The gear shifter was stuck in the folded down position. Pushing the button to raise it back up did nothing.
The transmission is absolutely flawed - it delays shifting in unpredictable ways when in traffic, and often slams into gear when downshifting, which is jarring on the driver. Transmission should absolutely be recalled for the bushing. It is unsafe and unethical that Ford knowingly continued to used this transmission knowing it was causing issues.

2021 Ford F-150 lariat, 5. 0l coyote v8, purchased new, now 65k miles. Two interrelated safety defects: oil consumption: on 3/21/2026 at 62k miles, I discovered the engine was critically low on oil. Only 3 quarts drained during a full oil change, against a rated 8. 8 quart capacity. The engine had been running on one third of required oil. The onboard oil life monitor showed 9% remaining and gave no low-oil warning, no warning lights, no alerts. No external leak. On 5/22/2026, koons Ford woodbridge formally confirmed excessive oil consumption after a documented oil consumption test. Ford TSB 19-2365 acknowledges this exact defect on the 5. 0l coyote for 2018-2020 model years, attributing it to high intake manifold vacuum during deceleration fuel shut-off pulling oil into the combustion chamber. The 2021 engine is mechanically identical. Transmission: hard and slipping gear shifts reported to Ford within months of purchase in 2021. Ford issued multiple software updates over the years to mitigate the behavior, most recently late 2025. Fix was temporary; hard/slipping shifts returned. Catastrophic failure: while awaiting Ford hq authorization on repairs, the vehicle suffered complete drivetrain failure on Friday night. Engine lost power and transmission failed entirely. I was near home and coasted safely off the road. Had this occurred at highway speed during my daily commute, the result could have been catastrophic. Vehicle towed to koons Ford woodbridge. Safety concern: this is my only vehicle, used for daily highway commuting. The oil consumption defect provides no warning before engine damage. The transmission has degraded despite years of Ford software patches. The vehicle has demonstrated total drivetrain failure capability with no driver warning. Ford corporate case opened: cxh-07446845-g0j0k0. Filing to document this at the federal level and add to the existing pattern of complaints. Requesting NHTSA review whether these defects warrant investigation.

Preston automotive group sold me a used truck that had a replaced odometer and offered and sold as if the vehicles odometer reflected correct mileage. When I brought to their attention they said this is not illegal and should not be a problem and offered no remedy!.
Check engine light went on. Knock sensor failure. Vehicle running rough and knocking. On line lots of people complaining. Gentleman in the service department who works for Ford said that he has been getting a lot of knock sensor failures lately.
In 2025 I took my truck in for a recall reference 24s37 which was a software update to prevent intermittent failure of my output shaft sensor in my transmission. My sensor is now failed and Ford is claiming that there is no remedy for coverage as I already did the software update but my truck is still experiencing problems.

Vehicle is having erratic downshifting at highway speeds causing it to drop gears and brake harshly then violently accelerate. The transmission was already replaced by the dealer in 2025. Dealer is reporting they cannot get the vehicle to duplicate the issue but this has posed a great safety risk of injury for my family.
Contacted Ford about recalls 26s28 and 19v075 and they report that my vehicle is out of the warranty period for repair. They were advised that this is under a NHTSA recall and still refuse to honor the NHTSA safety recall stating that it is outside the window for replacement. Again advised them that this is a NHTSA recall and they still refuse to honor it. My vehicle is inoperable due to this.

VIN # [xxx] Ford customer service current case number: [xxx] integrated trailer module failure after recall completion. Nhtsa campaign id recall # 26c10 was completed at coconut point Ford in florida on 3/26/2026. This recall identified that when towing a trailer, the integrated trailer module may lose communication with the trailer possibly causing a loss of brake and turn signal lights or a loss of brake function. On [xxx] in the middle of a seriously steep and dangerous decent, the system reported that the trailer was disconnected from the truck causing, loss of trailer brake control which in turn cause a reliance on the truck. The antilock brake system failed moments later. I had to literally stand on the brakes to slow down to keep from going over the side of the mountain. At the end of the dirt road where it ts onto the highway we could not stop. We travel with a 23 foot 2019 vintage cruiser manufactured by gulf stream. That weighs approximately 5200 lbs empty; I have a cat scale reading of 4840 pounds from a 12/6/24 weight with my previous truck. We do not travel with any water in our black, grey or fresh water tanks so even fully loaded we are still well within specs for this trucks towing capacity. The brake control on the truck was set to 5. Faricy boys Ford in canon city colorado, verified that a recall had been completed and worked on the truck for 3 full days, testing many things including tailgate malfunctions and miscellaneous electrical systems trying to replicate the problem, no dealer has been able to replicate the problem. They finally replaced all the brakes and rotors as well as flushing the brake system. I respectfully requested that Ford motor company assign the review of this case to a regional customer service manager / engineer to review the complete repair history of this vehicle, via registered mail. We haven heard anything yet. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

Based on publicly available reports and similar complaints, multiple F-150 vehicles with the 10-speed automatic transmission appear to experience similar transmission failures at relatively low mileage under normal driving conditions.
Traveling on 2 lane road with no vehicles ahead or behind—full roof sun roof glass exploded, loud gunshot sound and broken glass. Remaining glass bowed up and a lot of glass blow back on to bed cover. I walked several hundred feet on both sides of road and no cause apparent—no lawn or weed trimming happening. Clearly this exploded inside out.
My truck violently downshifted randomly and caused me to lose control for a little bit. I was lucky to narrowly avoid a crash. The truck is showing transmission range sensor codes after the truck downshifts harshly. My local Ford dealer did a diagnosis and confirmed that it has a faulty molded lead frame. However, they are refusing to cover the repair and are saying that I either pay them or stop driving the truck because the lead frame replacement is not explicitly listed as a remedy on the recall even though recall 26s28 lists the lead frame as a cause of the issue and even says that dealers will replace it at no cost if it has already gone bad, which mine has.
I was driving and slowing down for a stop sign and the engine shut off by itself while still moving at appx 10-15mph. The display had several warning lights appear, and the message "auto start stop, shift to p, then restart engine". I have the auto start stop disabled on my vehicle, so there was no reason for my engine to shut off while decelerating. I searched online for potential causes and discovered that there are numerous incidents of this happening (engine shutting off while moving) to drivers that have deactivated the auto start stop on their vehicles. See link: [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
This is a continuation/escalation of NHTSA complaint 11689917. My 2021 Ford F-150 has experienced repeated fuel-system/electrical fuel-pump failures. The vehicle previously stalled and later cranked but would not start, returning code p0627 “fuel pump a control circuit / open. ” the in-tank fuel pump was replaced at owner expense for approximately $1,400 at an independent service center in September of 2025, but the repair did not permanently resolve the issue. The vehicle has now again lost fuel pressure/propulsion while traveling approximately 50 mph on a two-lane highway in a similar manner to prior failures. I was able to get the vehicle off the roadway, and it required towing back to my residence. This is approximately the fourth or fifth fuel-related failure, including stalls at low speed and non-start conditions related to fuel in parking lots. The symptoms appear consistent with Ford/NHTSA recall 25v455 / Ford recall 25s75, but my VIN was not included in the affected group. I am concerned that the recall population may be too narrow or that the remedy does not address the full defect pattern.
There is a manufacturing defect that is causing water to to enter the vehicle when driving in the rain. Where this becomes a significant safety issue is that the water enters somewhere near the bottom of the windshield (source still not determined) and runs down the pillar over the fuse box and bcm (neither is protected from the water). This could lead to an electrical short on any of the major modules of the vehicle unpredictably. The leak is confirmed but source is still to be determined by the dealership after 2 visits. In searching the web, this seems to be a fairly common issue on this generation of f150 trucks. I'll attach the pictures I could get but can never get one with the water actually coming in live.
This car has tail lights that are in operable, and do not work, it has almost caused a quite a few near accidents, would like to see this resolved soon.
I received a safety recall notice 26s28/NHTSA recall 26v237 on the same day that this occurred in my truck. Luckily for me, I was within 2 miles of home, the only way I could get home was to drive in first gear up the mountain road to get there. My truck is not drivable. If this happens on a freeway, I most likely would be rear ended as the vehicle stops suddenly. What recourse do I have from Ford motor company since I can’t drive the truck that they sold me? the recall notice says a fix won’t be ready until July, and that is a long time from now. I need a vehicle to drive. I feel like not having this remedy ready yet means that it’s not ready in a timely manner.

I took the vehicle in for maintenance -transmission flush, oil change, anything they could find because I was planning on a road trip and wanted it ready. They found the box frame just behind the front tires had completely rusted with large holes. The service tech did not even want to put the vehicle on the lift. They took some pictures and sent them to me. No maintenance was performed due to the severity of the rot. After inspection, no where else on the frame or body/fixtures is there rust like this. There is typical surface rust in usual places. I took multiple pictures of the problem areas as well as adjacent areas. Upon research I found that the 2015-2020 models have this issue due to the lack of weep holes in the box frame which accumulate moisture and rot from the inside out. The truck is a 2019 has 71k miles. I have owned Ford trucks for nearly the last 30 years and have never had this issue. Unfortunately the tech said it is not road safe given its condition.
Rear camera is intermittent. Many times as im utilizing it the camera will fail leaving me a blank screen or distorted. This is a safety issue because it occurs during a vehicle movement. A warning sign appears after the fact to have it serviced by a dealer.
Ford has acknowledged the defect (recall 26s28). · my truck experienced the dangerous downshift and wheel lockup. · Ford has no fix available until June 30th, leaving me without a safe vehicle. · Ford is refusing to provide a loaner or rental. The wheel locked on me and causing the vehicle to be uncontrollable, in wet condition. Causes a near fatal accident. I do have a dash camera recording to prove my case.
Back driver side passager window just shattered and glass went everywhere.
Rear window track for sliding back window separating causing sliding window to lean inward causing wind.
