The hood is peeling the clear coat. The upper cab on both drivers side and passengers side from front to back is down to bare metal. Top of the pickup box is down to the bare metal along both sides. Tailgate top is down to bare metal. These spots are clearly do to the prep and paint work.

A certified independent inspection company discovered welding on the main chassis of my Ford F-150. The welding is located on the front left frame area. I purchased the vehicle brand new, and it has never been in any accident or collision. This welding on a critical structural part creates a serious safety risk. Frame integrity may be compromised in normal driving or in the event of an impact. I transport my children daily in this vehicle, and I am afraid to drive it due to the possibility of structural failure. The official Ford dealer inspected the vehicle and kept it for approximately three weeks but provided no explanation or repair. The regional Ford office has delayed their technical report for more than five months with no response. The defect has been confirmed and is permanent. No warnings or lights appeared prior to discovering the issue. This is a manufacturing-related structural defect affecting vehicle safety, stability, and integrity. A proper safety resolution is required.

I purchased my vehicle in October 10th of 2025. I drove the vehicle home 2hrs away on the Friday. On Sunday the 12th I started the vehicle with a error of " park brake fault service now" I had the car taken to the nearest Ford dealership as it sat for 3 weeks. I was told the recall for the vehicle around this issue has been done twice so pundmamm Ford the local dealer did not want to do it again. They ended up replacing the driver rear brake caliper bled the brakes and said this fixed it. They did not replace the harness as they said twice repaired was weird that Ford allowed this. I ended up paying for the repairs caused by this recall of over 1000. 00 dollars. I have drove it now for two days and already the brake light engaged. Luckily it released and I was able to drive home. I have called Ford on this multiple times as well talked with supervisors and need escalation at this point.
Making loud static noise randomly.
Wrench icon came on, truck wouldn’t shift out of first gear, speedometer and mileage stopped working. Lead frame recall according to my mechanic, $2,000 fix out of pocket. Truck only has 140,000 miles but is a 2012 so Ford says I’m outside of the free recall replacement. Had no problems at all until over 135,000 miles, ridiculous that this is paid out of pocket when issues don’t arise until after the approved date.

I work on route 95 doing road construction and I am usually running highway speeds. When leaving work heading up 95 the truck threw itself in second gear out of nowhere. Almost got hit in the fast lane because I could not maintain speed and rpm’s went to 7500. Had to pull over turn the truck off and on and it was fine. It can drive fine for a few hours or a few minutes then the transmission will downshift again out of nowhere while just throwing up a wrench light when it happens that then turns off. It has happened about ten times now. Sitting in driveway. Nice truck to scary to drive.

Ford doesn’t want the fix the problem because my VIN number is not on the list. Yet, there have been recalls for 2020 Ford F-150s related to the emissions system, including a recall for the 2. 7l ecoboost engine's catalytic converters, which requires a powertrain control module (pcm) reprogramming, and another related to a loose battery cable that could cause stalling, fire, and other malfunctions. Catalytic converter recall (24e12) who is affected: 2018–2020 F-150 models with the 2. 7l ecoboost engine. : the recall addresses inaccuracies in the catalytic converters' effectiveness. The primary fix is reprogramming the pcm to more accurately detect issues, which might trigger a check engine light if the converter is faulty.
I was driving my 2015 Ford f150 and just pulled into the parking lot. The lights on the dash started going off (airbags, parking detectors, big wrench, etc), however the vehicle driving wasn't affected at that time. I immediately stopped and parked, when I returned to my vehicle it had full power, but wouldn't even attempt to start. I had no choice but to tow it to a nearby Ford dealership in grapevine, TX. It was ultimately diagnosed with a bad "transmission lead harness. " the dealership told me that this was a recall item on many f150s, but for some reason, not on mine. I researched this specific issue and found that 2011-2016 models of f150 were affected. It shows an investigation was opened for 2015 models as well. My question is why my specific vehicle is not under a recall. This could be a potentially dangerous issue, I'd think. So, right now I'm looking at a nearly $2000 bill to repair my vehicle when they get the parts in on Friday, 10/10/2025. I believe that if this is a recall on other with the same transmission lead harness, why is mine separated from that. I was given no warning other than the lights going off just before shutting of my truck, then it wouldn't start again. Thankfully I was in a populated area and not in the middle of nowhere. Please advise on any possible what I can get reimbursed for this issue.
Backup camera was so blurry couldn’t see truck that was parked behind and backed into front bumper causing dent and bumper needed to be replaced.

The steering wheel clock spring has failed, which prevents the use of steering wheel controls to cycle through and monitor critical vehicle information. This creates a safety risk because the driver cannot access important vehicle data while driving. I contacted Ford motor company to request assistance, as the repair was quoted at $700. Ford acknowledged my request but refused to provide assistance, stating the vehicle is outside of warranty. However, the clock spring is a safety-critical component that should not fail under normal use. Ford has issued recalls for clock spring failures on other vehicles, which indicates this can be a systemic safety issue. Ford has had my truck at the dealer for 4 weeks trying to perform recall 25v315. The update has not been successful and Ford will not give me my truck back while they try and come up with a solution. My truck did not experience any problems with the rear camera screen freezing. Other trucks are experiencing similar problems.

Complete backup camera failure showing black screen. Third time system has failed.
My truck will not update its internal software that controls everything from windows to abs braking system. My truck has numerous pending updates, verified by my dealer and fmco update section, that are not being sent to my truck. The updates are there for a reason, to improve and to prevent issues. I asked my dealer to do them, they said it would cost $1500 to do it since they would not install over the air as they should. I contacted Ford on 9/12/25 and they refused to assist by either paying the dealer and or by using my Ford esp warranty. My safety is at risk because these updates address transmission issues, braking issues, electical issues etc all that could fail and cause an accident. Add these failure to update with the exisisting fuel pump problem and the truck is a serious problem . I am told by Ford that my updates are "stuck" and that there is nothing that they can assist with and I must take to a dealer and pay for the updates that others get for free. But, should there ever be a "recall" for my trucks failure to update, I can apply for a refund. I have about 12 different updates that will not download to my truck. In the history of the truck, this is not the first time it would not download updates. Shortly after it was built it was taken to Ford and a "forced update for the bluecruise technology" had to be done. Critical software updates to the trucks main computer that do not initiate is not acceptable and a danger to this truck! thank you!.

Transmission on my f150 suddenly dropped to a lower gear as I was pulling out on a highway which significantly lowered my acceleration. Luckily the oncoming traffic slowed until I could safely get across to my lane. Eventually it jumped back into the proper gear. From what I have found on the internet this seems to be a common defect. Only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed. This is not the first time the transmission has done this. I took my f150 to the dealership to be checked and they didn’t find anything wrong. P0706 and p0707 codes.
The rear backup camera fails and goes black. It is available for inspection if requested. Problem has been reproduced by a dealer. I have not had it inspected by police or insurance. There were no warning signs other than camera went blurry then completely black. The are millions of recalls and consumer satisfaction warranties for 2015-current f 150s, but for some reason mine is not showing up as a recall.
I was driving in the morning car was started to lag on accelerating and shifting gears slightly. My dashboard and gps system flickered on and off when this happened. The truck putted as well. On my way home the car had trouble accelerating and dropped from 5th gear all the way to first causing me to almost lose control of the vehicle. It continued hard shifting and loss all acceleration. It continued flickering everytime it would sputter and slip gears, gps and dashboard would flicker. They gears were going haywire. I could not accelerate with the pedal all the way to the floor, and was hard to turn steering wheel. Almost like the truck was coasting. When we took it to the mechanic they stated it was a transmission range switch which is an issue and many f150's of my year, make and model. My vehicle was not listed as a recalled vehicle yet has the same issue as the other recalled ones. Total repairs are going to cost around $2000. I have not driven my vehicle since the incident and I am frightened after almost losing control from the hard shifting. Prior to this the vehicle ran great. It was an out of nowhere issue. The truck has been maintained well, with all oil changes, and regular maintenece. There is less the 96,000 mile son the truck as well.

Our truck also has a blank or distorted screen when using the rear backup camera. It happens quite often.
While changing the spark plugs 7 of the eight broke off in the engine block, the threaded section came out but the ceramic bottom portion is what broke. I find that this is somewhat common because auto zone rents a spark plug extractor specifically for this. My safety isn’t at risk. Problem not reported to a dealership yet. No inspection yet. The check engine light was on.

My wife went to back out of our driveway. She was on the side of the driveway in some stones. She put the f150 into 4 wheel high which she has done numerous times. She shifted the truck into reverse with her foot on the brake and the truck accelerated and hit a tree 10' away from the rear of the truck, the truck has been taken for evaluation. I have to report my truck accelerated on its own. I called Ford motor twice and was on hold for an hour with no luck. There were no warnings at all on the dash. Insurance adjuster looked at it and told me to have it towed the the body shop for further evaluation. My wife was hurt and a contractor was standing in the are near the tree. The truck is now at sjm auto in sugarloaf PA.

I have experienced a reoccurring issue with an hvac drain leak that creates black mold in the carpet this happened in many 2019 & 2020 f150 models. Some early on & some 6 years later (like my vehicle). This was covered in a prior TSB but did not always fix the problem nor did they replace the carpet (to fix the mold issue). Also, the TSB does not cover this issue out of the 36 month warranty. This is a health hazard due to the black mold, especially since their fix does not always cure the issue.
We took our Ford f150 king ranch to our local mechanic. The vehicle would shift down into a lower gear when traveling at speed limit. After that, that speedometer stopped working and other gages were inoperable. This happened several times before we contacted out mechanic for diagnostics testing. The trouble code p0722 / 6r80 transmission high gear engagement from a stop. In February 2019 Ford issued a safety recall stating these vehicles may suddenly downshift to first gear, possibly causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. The information I have obtained directly from the Ford website "dealers will reprogram the recalled Ford F-150's pcm, free of charge. The repair is currently available". We purchased this vehicle from carmax in 2021 and were not made aware of this recall. I contacted our local dealership, autonation Ford, that we had used for regular maintenance for the first two years after purchase of our vehicle. After diagnostic testing on the vehicle was complete, they advised the safety recall time had "expired". That we will be responsible for the repairs. Does a "safety recall" expire? we were advised the recall expired after 150k miles. We have approximately 164k miles. Can you please advise what our options may be? I do not feel safe driving this vehicle at this point. Autonation has had our vehicle since 09/11/2025. They are expecting me to pay for the repairs.

Known sunroof issue with Ford with the plastic tracks breaking and sunroof refuse to open/close. Ford issued a TSB and forums have many Ford owners with same issue.
Rear view camera is blurry. Can no longer clearly see obstacles while backing up. Camera problem was reproduced and repaired by the dealer.
Previously had the vehicle diagnostic at georgia lina automotive into which I can provide the diagnostics later I was advised that it may be a internal issue dealing with the instrumental cluster a continuously battery warning flash on the dash panel. I was also told that it may be a electrical problem that even cause a fire internally which may damage the vehicle. I was told that out of pocket calls would be $1,956. 05 I reviewed all of the issues that are considered or recall and wiring was most definitely listed under recall versus warranty. I've most recently had the issue of the powertrain warranty for the transmission taken care of under the customer satisfactory program. Unfortunately they did not have this particular issue of the instrument cluster listed due to faulty wiring. Now there maybe many others that face the very same issue, for it seems to also affects the bluetooth connecting with phone under sync. And I am submitting this complaint in a better hope for for the review by your board or committee to conduct their own independent investigation which may makes the difference not only for me but once again for many others. I don't know if there's window. Past the 15 years if a vehicle has been previously purchased such as myself and there was a recall for this particular issue does the manufacturer allows the new owner a grace period as a courtesy which I believe would be appropriate as well as deemed it in the respect of hospitality. Sudden jerking movements when accelerating and braking. Needs new transmission. Reading there have been many reports of 10r80 transmission issues with Ford.
Iwe system failure, this has been worked on multiple times. Yes it's distracting when it grinds all the time putting everyone safety at risk. The only way it stops is to turn it to 4h which need to slow down for. Yes dealership and shops are aware. Total 4 wheel drive failure and warning on dash (little wrench).
Failed cdf drum and collapsed shift solenoid retainers. Causing erratic shifting, hard shifting, gear skipping, bouncing back and forth between gears, delayed gear engagement, and shuttering when shifting.
Rear window seal leaks on multiple different trucks needs to be recalled because most of us can not afford a 900$ back window. I’ve seen many people say the back windows are leaking in the lariats xl and xlts.
Catalytic converter has failed and needs replaced.
I was notified that my truck has a safety recall and immediately reported this to frontier Ford via email on 8/18/25 per the service advisors request. Frontier Ford 3701 stevens creek blvd. Santa clara, CA 408. 241. 1800 it's now been 4 months and I'm still waiting for the replacement part. I've been told by the service advisor that it is ok to drive my truck, unless I hear any noise from the axle. No inspections have been done. I'm concerned about safety I don't want to overreact, but at the same time it's been 4 months. Please advise.
