Cooper discoverer at3 tires lt275/70r18 d1 I purchased these tires on 11/08/2019. My truck had 166,736 miles it now has around 202,000. I experienced a blow out where the total tread separated from the rear driver side side walls. The tread separated piece was in one piece. As if a re-tread tire. It caused extensive damage to my rear quarter panel among a list of other damaged parts. The tread was on the tires were still in excellent shape.

Lt265/70r17, I received a recall notice from amazon where I purchased a set of 4 tires. I only use these tires for winter driving and the notice states I should remove them immediately. They do not say for me to purchase new ones at the same time or if I will be reimbursed for any (all) cost. I still have around 70% of wear on them and am in the mid-winter season of mccall id. I can't see any fault at this time and will keep trying to contact prinx chengshan tire north America, inc. Notice: NHTSA campaign # 24t014000.

Tire had a full tread seperation while doing 65 on the I 95 in broward county FL caused damage to driver side front fender and alloy rim , was able to get off the road with no accident tire size was lt275 / 70 r18 and had less than 12000 miles I checked the other 3 tires and a couple have unusual wear which may be starting to have the tread seperate as you can a crack forming where the failed tire seperated.
All 4 tires have this oily/greasy substance that is leaking from where the letters are at on “michelin”. The oily/greasy substance it eating at the tires specifically around the letters. I believe these tires are faulty. Notice the oily/greasy substance a year ago maybe longer. Then recently found that where this oily/greasy substance is at is eating away at the tires. All 4 have some signs 2 of them have major signs. I have more pictures but they won’t upload.

Tire size lt285/75 r18 component/system failure: the front suspension and steering damper malfunctioned, leading to the "death wobble. " this issue also caused excessive tire wear due to the violent vibrations and instability in the steering system. The components are available for inspection, and the worn tires and replaced parts can be provided if necessary. Safety risk: the excessive tire wear, combined with the loss of steering control due to the wobble, significantly increased the risk of a blowout or loss of traction. At highway speeds, this made it difficult to control the vehicle, posing a serious risk to myself and others on the road. Problem reproduced/confirmed: yes, the problem, including excessive tire wear and steering instability, was reproduced and confirmed by a Ford dealership service center during their inspection. Vehicle/component inspection: the vehicle was inspected by the Ford dealership, where they identified the steering and suspension issues that contributed to the wobble and tire wear. No other entities, such as insurance or police, have inspected the vehicle since no accidents occurred. Warning lamps/symptoms: there were no warning lamps or messages before the failure. However, prior to the issue, symptoms included rapid and uneven tire wear, increased steering vibrations, and vehicle instability, particularly after hitting bumps or potholes.

All four tires lt275/70r18 on the vehicle are junking out separating with large pieces of rubber. That should not be happening with only 9,628 miles driven on the majority of highway miles with the vehicle only. The tires are original equipment to the Ford f250 purchased in February 2023. The vehicle was taken into the Ford dealership on 18 October 2023 dealers kicked it over to goodyear manufacture called and had a tire inspection done at a local goodyear dealer they agreed there was a problem with the tire but are not wanting to fully replace the tires.
Good year adventure all terrain m&s lt 275/70r18 load range e dot pj15 c11v 2322 these tires came on my brand new 2022 Ford f250 bought at a Ford dealership in colorado springs February 2023 I drove it off the lot with only 67 miles on it. The truck as been driven 99% of time on paved roads with a unpaved county road here an there. The problem I am having is with all four mounted tires on the truck I noticed at approximately 9,000 miles the tread was peeling/chunking looking very rough & wearing fast for being so new. On October 16, 2023 took truck into dealer where I bought it at with 9,556 miles after returning from my trip they agreed it was unusual looking passed it off for me to contact good year which they looked at and said same but not willing to do full replacement of tires. Ford will not replace tires under warranty because "wear is consistent with driving on gravel or unpaved roads" is that not what all terrain tires are made for? with me driving so little on unpaved roads I really think there most be a problem with the tire compound in this set of tires. After moving truck parked on concrete there are shreds/little pieces of rubber off of the tires that cannot be normal. The tires were rotated as recommend at the dealership at 5,553 miles.
The tire is a cooper (discoverer/rigged trek) 35x12. 50r20lt. The tire is unreadable as it ripped off the bead. While driving, a sudden pop suddenly occurred and smoke began to appear. I pulled over and realized the entire tire popped/blew up. No accident, it was at 35mph approximately. The vehicle has not been inspected yet as I am typing this while waiting for a tow truck.

Purchased a set of suretrac wide climber rt tires 35x12. 50x22 12 ply brand new 2/2021. This past summer all 4 seperated at different times over a 2 month period . Clearly a manufacturer defective in all there tires ! they need to be recalled and removed from the market. I still have the old tires for inspection if needed. It's not just mine that have failed and all 4 of the ones I have did.
Over this past summer all 4 of the suretrac wide climber rt tires -35/12. 50/22 12 ply separated? failed. Each did so one at a time over a 2 month period but all 4 tires failed. Clearly its a manufactures defect and all of these should be recalled and pulled from the market! literally all 4 failed. These tires need to be recalled and removed from the market. Ive tried to click on upload photos but its not working.
295/65r20 had 3 out of 4 tires separate with about 1400 miles on them at highway speeds. Purchase in 11/22 first on failed 4/23 the other 2 5/23. 1st one had belts break at hwy speeds the 2nd had a large chunk of trade come off and 3rd had belts separate. 70mph was average speed when the issue occurred.
The belt in the tire separated while driving. This caused a "bubble" to form causing my truck to shake violently and required changing to the spare tire. If this happened on the highway I could have lost control and caused an accident. I took my truck to a tire installer who documented the above finding and noted the tire was properly inflated and there were no impact marks on the tread or sidewalls. I am currently working with the supplier but they are being unreasonable with the requirements to have it inspected. No other reps have been contacted at this time. No ( its a 24 year old truck, I don't have any tire related warning lamps) lt235/85 r16.

Lt 275/ 70 r 18. Pieces of the tread are peeling away in chunks. The outer edges of the tread pattern appear to have been cut into and have gaps where rubber is missing. The salesperson at the place of purchase assured me that this is caused by driving on rocks. My 83 yo father has never seen anything like this on any tires. My 50,000 mile tires are down to the wear marks with approximately 22,000 miles. L no longer feel safe in my normal travels with these seemingly defective tires that may fail at any time.

Michelin ltx a/t 2 size p275 65 r20 I have a 2014 Ford f250 srw that I bought new in July 2014. The truck has 30,000 miles on it and 20,000 of it was towing a 5th wheel. The truck sits inside next to the 5th wheel when its not being used. I had the original tires on which had about 50% of the tread left. The rear tires are always inflated to 80 psi before towing. We had 2 blowouts on the rear tires. The first I started feeling a vibration and thought I had a tire going down. No tpms warnings. I pulled off and when I got below 45 the vibration stopped. The tires were all up and the tire temps were within 10 degrees of each other. So we continued on when I got back on I-75 south above 50, I started feeling the vibration again. I got over to the middle lane thinking maybe it was a pavement issue. Thats when the passenger rear tire blew. That tire was split in the side wall on both sides like the seam let go. Didn't think much of it when within about 50 miles, just south of lexington the driver side rear tire blew. I got a little vibration that I was thinking that feels just like before the other side blew, but not nearly as much warning (about enough time to let off the gas) same side wall split, except this also took out part of the tread and damaged the truck. Tire discounters that was able to get us the same michelin tires that came on the truck. The manager and his senior tire tech thought the tires were defective and told me to take the old tire and report the dot number.
The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-250 equipped with super swamper tires (tire size: 37/1250/r20lt and dot number: 3u5hp3lx4720). The contact stated that while driving 50 mph the when the rear driver-side tire. The contact had to pull over to the side of the road. The contact had the vehicle towed where a spare was placed on the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to a tire shop who had replaced the tires with the same brand and size, however, the new tires had new dot number 3u5hp3lx3921. The new tire on the front driver-side had blew out while parked in the garage at less than 3,000 miles. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage of the vehicle was 29,000 and for the tires was approximately 4,900.

Tire size 275/70r 18. I purchased these tires in April of 2020 from stivers Ford in birmingham, al. I have since replaced 4 deflective tires and 2 tires there about to be defective. The major problem with this tire is that 1 of these tires blew out while driving 70mph on I-22 in graysville, al exit 87 westbound. This blowout resulted in my truck doing a 720 in the middle of traffic, if I had had a trailer connected to my truck this probably would have resulted in my death and/or others. I have since filed a claim with continental tires the americas case# 21218001, and sent all of the tires back to them that were defective. Continental tires claims this was a result of a road hazard condition (6 times??). My vehicle was inspected by sherrill auto body and found that there was $5000+ damage that occurred. There were no warning lights or messages, the only warning I had was the truck started shaking and when the front tires went bad, there was shaking and death wobble at times. There is a recall on these tires "but not with my dot#".

Sailun is not a currently a valid choice as a tire brand name:, nor is tarramax h/t a valid choice as a tire line:, why I have submitted this report under the unknowncategory for both of these cell inputs. Purchased (4) new sailun, tarramax h/t, lt265/75r-16 tires (in January 2016). After approximately 13,000 miles of use, started experiencing an unusual vibration at highway speeds. After many hours of troubleshooting the vibration problem, it was finally revealed at another tire center (using a hunter road force test/balancing machine. . . At an extra cost) that 3 of the 4 tires were actually defective (red (75 lbs, 73 lbs and 43 lbs) condition, replace tire) and the 4th tire usable (yellow (15 lbs) condition, slightly out of round, but are still usable. . . For how long, is anyone guess). Road force testing revealed that the internal belts had separated and are the cause for the out of round tire condition. This is why the vibration has gotten significantly worst over the past month. . . More belt separation with each use. According to the tire expert technician at discount tires, "the tires are egg shaped rather than round like a doughnut and this condition is what is causing the vibrations even though the tires are showing balanced on other balancing machines at other shops. Other buyers have complained on-line about this same problem, but I suspect they have not officially reported these problems to the NHTSA. Tbcbrands customer service is claiming that there has never been any reported problems and that if there were any issues, the NHTSA would have reports of this. tires were imported by tbcbrands or tbc corporation and a primarily sold by les schwab tire stores. On highway at 50 mph when rear passenger tire exploded. Tire fragments tore and bent fender well metal causing $2700 damage. Steel belts were broken across the tire in two locations on the circumference. Fender and tire replaced. Likely would have caused severe bodily injury or death if a person had been standing next to the tire. (primary reason for filing this report) just prior to the explosion, my wife sensed a vibration and stopped to inspect tires. No obvious defects were found. After proceeding approximately 1 mile, the incident occurred. Tire was returned to bf goodiidge after which they claimed no responsibility. Pictures of tire and vehicle damage available.

Continental contitrac. I already reported issue with one tire 12/15/15 #10854773 and now have had to replace another 2 tires. One caused vibration even at slow speed. It was too dangerous to drive so we had to tow the car to get the tire replaced. While at store, we were informed about cracks on another tire and had to get it replace. There was a recall for 2008 and 2009 original tires on f250 but not for 2010.

While towing a travel trailer at 55 mph with 2011 f250, experienced sudden tire roughness/bouncing. Tires were original equipment with approx. 10,000 mi. Dealer found belt separation in right-rear tire. Then a month later, while traveling at 70 mph with no load, the same thing happened at approx. 12,000 mi. Dealer found belt separation in right-front tire. All 4 original tires and spare were from same lot. Cannot trust these continental tires, so have replaced with another brand.
