The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-350 sd. The contact stated while driving 65 mph with the trailer hitched to the vehicle, the vehicle downshifted suddenly to 37 mph. There was no warning light illuminated. The passenger's side of the trailer went sideways and blocked the roadway; however, the trailed remained hitched to the vehicle. The contact then disengaged the towing mode and was able to drive the trailer into a ditch in order to clear the roadway. The contact then drove to his residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the integrated trailer brake control module software was updated under NHTSA campaign number: 22v193000 (electrical system). Additionally, the contact stated that there was no oil in the rear axle differential. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 5,800.
Front differential axle yoke shattered. Others with same truck also suffered failure. Ford denied responsibility, but too many other owners experience potential life safety failures in motion.

Transfer case shifting fork wore out. Truck had only been in four wheel drive about a dozen times all in snow conditions on major hiways. No offroading at all. Had to replace the shifting fork, a planetary gear an a imput shaft. This was the only way Ford would sell the repacement parts. Ford has made a design change on the shifting fork.

The planetary gear failed while driving. It completely discentrated inside the transmission. A local Ford dealer rebuilt transmission, but now, when the truck is warmed up and the transmission is hot, when you engage reverse it takes off on its own. I have to hold it back with the brake and it eventually stalls. This has happened repeatedly.

We feel this truck is a lemon and we want someone to be responsible for what we have gone through with this truck, we have had nothing but trouble with it, it is unreliable. No safety defect listed.
The rear ends keep locking or binding up.
