The vehicle has a noise that is similar to a strut that is lose, that started out as slight noise and has subsequently gotten louder. The Fusion has a v-6 and is now out of warranty and was purchased new; the problem has existed for years with no dealer having a solution to the problem. That noise has been investigated by two separate Ford dealers, (one where we purchased the vehicle) the other an independent Ford dealer I purchased an explorer from. Neither could find the cause of the sound. It occurs over bumps sometimes and sometimes over smooth pavement. One mechanic from a goodyear repair dealer heard and thought it was the sway then; tighten it, but the sound still exist. The sound is only heard on the passenger side.
