Front drivers airbag light on. Called Ford to get it fixed and was told by both dealership and the warranty department that I would have to pay $150 to have it tested. Depending on what the test showed I would be given the cost to repair. Have extended warranty with Ford too. They all stated that it probably would not be covered which can run me up to an additional $300. I have paid to have an extended warrant as well as pay them to service my car. The passenger seat electronics has already failed and had to be replaced. The clip on the exhaust broke and had to be replaced. Now the drivers side electronics is breaking. The seat will not move. Ford will not take ownership of poor quality. Now bigger concerns with all the airbag recalls as to why the 2011 have not been recalled!.

The contact owns a 2008 Ford Mustang. The contact stated the frontal air bag light illuminated constantly. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic who performed a diagnostic test which informed the contact that the drivers seat module was faulty. The vehicle was not repaired since the Ford dealer was no longer in the area. The manufacturer was contacted and informed her to take the vehicle to another dealer for the repairs. The vehicle warranty was valid; however, the dealer was 900 miles from her residence and she would be responsible for the repair cost. It would be too costly to take the vehicle to a dealer in another city. The failure mileage was 16,000.

When I am breaking at about 3-5 mph the car will lunge forward (feels like I was rear ended but no cars behind me) occasionally I will go to accelerate and canã‚t get above 15 mph I have to turn the car off and back on then it's fine. The air bag light off for the passenger seat will come on even with a 250 lb person sitting there, I have had people try to shift their weight but it still comes on after 5 minutes of driving it goes away. The peddle pressure to the brakes feel low and I have tapped my brakes ans the abs activated causing the brakes pulsate at 25 mph. The driver side engine will intermediately sequel and the car will idle extremely rough, it does it mostly at idle but I have had it happen at a stop light after 1 hour of driving. Also I always feel a ton of engine vibration on the break pedal.

2011 Ford Mustang v-6 after owning for about 2 months, we noticed that on occasion the "pass air bag' light in the overhead would flicker on indication that the passenger airbag system is disabled. After a few weeks, the light became more consistent to the point that it would remain on for the majority of the duration of any trip. Made a trip to the shop and the system was "re-zeroed". No issues for a few weeks and then the issue started again. Back to the shop and told that this is normal operation of the system due to my wife weighing ~105 - 110lbs. Went home and read the drivers manual to see if this feature of the system was described. Found a procedure in the manual for training the system to identify the weight of a passenger to the system. Followed the procedure. Again the system operated as expected for about a week and then started again. Back to the shop and again told that it was normal operation but Ford was again e-mailed. Response was to perform the procedure in the drivers manual. If this failed to work additional testing to be performed. Repeated the reset procedure 2 more times and returned to the shop with the same results. While sitting in the drive way of the dealership the airbag light was witnessed by the service manager flashing on and off with the car in idle and my wife properly restrained. Additional testing has been performed and all tests have been passed. The dealership is planning to replace the seat pad/bladder when the parts are released by Ford. This will be in early December at best. I am currently being told by Ford to pull over and have my wife ride in the back seat of our brand new car when the light illuminates.

I got a letter in July 2015 that I need to have my airbag fixed. I have call Ford in altoona PA and they keep telling me they do not have the parts to fix it but they also told me that if my airbag light is on they will fix it right now. I just want the problem fixed. I drive this car everyday it needs fixed now.

Braking for traffic signal engine created clunking then whistling noise. It seemed and felt like the engine had fallen onto payment. Taking foot off brake the 2010 Mustang accelerated on its own. Drove home parked called Ford and also reported that airbag light passenger airbag light always on. Ford towed to nearby dealer, mechanic drove 8 miles could not verify nor duplicate events.

About a month after my purchase of my new Mustang in 2009, I had an issue with my air bag light coming on all the time. I took it in while under warranty to get it fixed. It took the Ford house 2 months to fix the problem. 4 years later same issue. Air bag light is coming on. No warranty at this time to get it check out. I've noticed that it has been a common issue or at least with faulty air bags. I'm afraid I may have the same issue if I am ever in a car accident. I feel that Ford should be responsible for correcting the same issue as of 4 years ago. Call it a warning sign that it may very well be a faulty air bag issue. To be continued.

The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the vehicle was under recall and repaired it for free. However, the vehicle was never repaired and, whenever a passenger under the 150 pounds is seated in the passenger seat, the air bag indicator light will still illuminate. The contact has taken the vehicle to the dealer twice since the most recent failure, but they have been unable to assist. The recall number was unknown. The contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The frontal air bag light flashes on and off intermittently when a 13 year old weighing 115 pounds is seated in the passenger seat. The dealer spoke with the manufacturer and they stated that the flashing light was a normal occurrence. The VIN and dealer information were unknown. The current mileage was 1,000 and failure mileage was 19.

1)rattle sound coming from exhaust area when taking off in car. 2)cd's skip or won't play sometimes with shaker 1000 3) passenger side airbag light comes on and off while driving all the time by itself. 4) having trouble filling tank with gas at most gas stations. 5) have been hearing a squeak sound coming from drivers side dashboard near windshield area.

Passenger air bag light stayed on with passenger in car and seat belt buckled – dealer unable to duplicate so can’t fix.

Air bag light is flashing a code, and no one can tell consumer what the code means. Every now and then engine check light goes on for no reason. Consumer has taken vehicle to a number of mechanics, and no one could give her any reason why vehicle was doing this.
