I have done all my airbag recalls and the light came on a few months ago and is steady flashing. Called cresent Ford in high pint and they looked up my VIN and my car replacement history. They told me it had been replaced but it was still under warranty and to make an appointment to have it looked at. Made an appointment, which I may add I had to take the day off and drive 40 mins one way, I was told by doug that I had to pay for a diagnostic test because it may not be the airbag and they refused to look at the car until I paid for a diagnostic test. I continue to receive airbag notices and if I was told on the phone this was under warranty. If there are problems in the past with airbags and in the future, we have problems why should this not be covered and looked at by Ford at cost to them to run a diagnostic test. This is absurd. Had this happened to me 3 months ago I never would not have purchased a 2010 Mustang if this is how you do your customers for your defective parts. Also went to pull the parking brake up, which was passed inspection several times, and the brake does not work. This is a big safety hazard.

Accident after side swiping cattle guard, flew off the road at 70mph, landing roughly, and bouncing off desert terrain, trying to control crash outcome, realign no brakes, and no way to slow down vehicle, except no acceleration, and turned away from homes and power poles, to eventually slam into a a higher terrain, until complete stop. My repaired airbags didn't deploy, and at that speed, my passenger side wheels were shattered, tires flat, face hit the steering wheel and windshield, my knees hit dashboard, arms bounced off off everything the seat belt couldn't protect me from. Because of airbag failure to deploy, I ended up with 2 fractures, t9 and l1, 6 lose teeth making front teeth unable to use, and 2 cervical discs pushing into spinal column. I have medicaid for insurance, and they will not do the surgery on my neck, so I have permanent nerve damage to my arms and hands, and the rest of my life to avoid any falls, or sudden injury to these areas so I can exist as a cripple, all because the safety equipment mandated by you, failed or was non existent. I had basic motor insurance coverage and no medical for me. What do you propose I do, with what's left of my car and my body parts, to continue existing in this life? why have safety regulations when the equipment is knowingly defective, and costly, with no recourse in case something happens, before you as owner, are aware of it. I'm so pissed off to discover I own a vehicle, or paid for vehicle, that tried to kill me.

My name is michelle wright and I have purchased Ford vehicles most of my life. I love Ford vehicles and have had amazing experiences with westlie Ford and landmark Ford. I purchased my vehicle at vancouver Ford, which is the most unprofessional and unethical dealership. My story starts October 2021, when I purchased a 2019 Ford Mustang from vancouver Ford. I paid cash for the vehicle and was provided an autocheck, not a carfax the day I had purchased this car. Over the last 8 months I have had several issues that made think my car was an accident but was assured it was never in an accident. After pulling the carfax, I realized it was in a wreck and had an accident date of July 2019. This led me to look for an accident report, which was filed by a portland police officer on July 23, 2019.

25 mph mild frontal collision caused a fire to start in the door panel as identified by the driver and the fire dept. The fire caused a majority of the cabin to burn and the vehicle to become a total loss in under a minute. Front airbags deployed but not side airbags. Electrical system in left door possibly malfunctioned causing a fire, evident by the fire reigniting every time the fire fighter ceased using the fire extinguisher. Driver was right next to the damaged electrical and was almost hurt by the fire, almost resulting in severe burns or death to the driver had they not escaped the cabin a few seconds before ignition. The problem has not been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others. There were no warning lamps or messages prior to the failure.

On July 26, 2021, I had a head on collision ( driver side to driver side ) where I felt like the vehicle didn’t want to stop. Even when I applied the brake, the vehicle kept going forward. In that collision, even though I was wearing my seatbelt, my head went straight up and I hit the top of my car. My head felt crunched into my neck and shoulders, and the belt restrained me enough to pull my right shoulder back and down from having my head crunching further into the top of my car. Although I wasn’t given a ticket for the accident, the police found me to be at fault. Later, I went to an urgent care where they diagnosed me with having a concussion. I haven’t seen any other necessary doctors, because I don’t have the money out of pocket. I don’t know that my remaining pip will cover anymore. I am still having issues with my head, neck, back, and hip now. I recently saw a dentist and I may have tmj. I never have experienced such pain of my entire left side of my face. My migraines have increased in frequency and intensity, and other health issues are agitated and inflamed.
I have documented eight separate unsuccessful attempts to repair outstanding recalls on my vehicle due to Ford’s repeated refusal and continued failure to provide a loaner vehicle for the duration of the repair. Whether the required time is half-day or one week it makes no difference, I cannot run my business without a vehicle. Please advise how to proceed. Thanks.

Brought the vehicle in for airbag replacement. Made an appointment ahead of time. Left the car over night. Contacted the service dept the next day and they told me the repair was done. I went in and was handed the keys and paperwork and told it was done. I kept getting recall notices from Ford, so I contacted them to let them know the airbags had been replaced. They insisted I never brought the car in, but I have the paperwork. Upon going over the details with Ford during the first phone call. Only one airbag had been replaced, and they gave the car back to me under the impression it was safe to drive. Last week was the third time I've contacted. Each time they say they will investigate the matter and never call back. I've lost confidence in this dealership and Ford for being unwilling to admit they dropped the ball and fix the problem. Their letters say they will come to you, but that's not happening either. I would like to watch this being done, sorry I just don't trust them anymore. (I have the paperwork).

I got into a wreck with a vehicle that past a stop sign hitting me at 120mph. The airbag in the drivers seat exploded immediately. I had my Mustang service in galveston Ford dealership for my airbags within a year. Luckily I pushed my seat back to avoid major injuries to my face.

I was making a normal order delivery drop off going off my gps I came to a narrow road where no signs of a dip ahead. Came to a dip ahead that you couldn't tell it was a dip and I wasn't going no more than 11 to13 miles when I was coming over it and my airbags busted out of my sterring wheel hitting my hand and my arm leaving burn marks. I couldn't stay on the road so I waited 30 mins before I drove slowly back to my house cause then my tire started going low.

Daughter was driving north on wilma rudolph blvd at 45-50 mph in clarksville, tennessee and attempted to slow down when brakes did not apply. She attempted to go around the vehicle in front of her direction of travel and rear-ended the vehicle on the right front passenger quadrant. Upon rear-ending the vehicle, she hit her head on the steering wheel then a split second later as her head was returning to the upright position the airbag deployed. The air bag deployed "after" and "late". This airbag was part of a Ford recall and had been replaced at our local dealership. Additionally, the vehicle had the brake system serviced in December of 2018 and we had informed the dealership of brake system feeling "spongy". The dealership could not find any issues with the system.
Driver and passenger airbags were replaced under a recall and now theres a airbag warning light showing up on my dash.
We do not own this car. It was sold out-of-state 1. 5 years ago. Sorry, though Ford should know we do not have possession or know where car is.
Air bag recall and iam having a code for electronic throttle body control issues that should be a recall from what I heard but my local Ford dealer said it wasnt.
