Transmission Gear Slipping Problems of Ford Mustang

The contact owns a 2012 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the gear shifter slipped into first gear without warning. Upon restarting the vehicle, the vehicle worked as designed. The contact called gosch Ford temecula (26895 ynez rd, temecula, CA 92591, (951) 699-1302) however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the transmission failed to produce power and the first gear had ceased. The contact stated the failure was similar to NHTSA campaign number: 16v248000 (power train). The manufacturer was contacted however, no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 129,000.

Just bought my Mustang in August of 2003. Paint was peeling off front bumper before I even picked up car. Then had to have front end replaced because of a defective suspension. Now my automatic transmission is slipping.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Took vehicle to dealer, and dealer replaced some parts of transmission. Every 3000 miles transmission started slipping, then, gauge was stuck with rpms at 3, no matter if vehicle was stopped or driving. Please provide any further information.

Transmission has been slipping intermittently. Rpm's will not go down immediatly after it shifts to higher gear. Called dealer, and was told unless they could reproduce this nothing would be done.

Was driving vehicle & felt transmission slipping. Had returned to dealer who refused to repair it. Later had cruise control on & vehicle suddenly accelerated. Applied brakes shut it off, but did not stop it. Turned vehicle off & restarted it. Vehicle has no air bags. Vehicle had a 1998 front repair done, but no accident had happened.
