On 04-07-2021 I was traveling west on florida s. R. 60 / us 301; when a car in front of me was stopping. I applied the brakes and failed to stop in time; hitting the rear end of the auto in front of me. It appears to me that the brakes did not work correctly to stop. I feel (felt) like the brake pedal when applied felt like air in the brake line system. The brake petal almost went all the way to the floor. Their was only about 3130 miles on the vehicle at the time of this invident. I still feel that there is a problem with the brakes and had them checked by the dealer on 08-20-2021 where they performed a brake inspection and the pads and rotor were measured. Upon the filing of this report I still do not feel comfortable nor safe driving this vehicle with the brake issue. Also my front driver air bag did not deploy. The auto body manager said when I asked as to why; that the sensor perhaps was not hit straight on to make it deploy. I will follw up on an additional complaint on the air bag issue.

Without warning, the front right wheel bearing disintegrated while traveling on a highway at 55 mph. I heard a load noise in the front, the truck sagged to the right, and the truck and steering suddenly pulled to the right side, sending the vehicle momentarily out of control. Fortunately, there was no other vehicles to the right of me because I would have been in a serious accident. After swerving and fishtailing, I was able to get the truck under control and coasted off the road. I brought the car to a front end specialist and he said that the bearing went and destroyed the spindle, the sensor and the brakes. He indicated this failure was unheard of for a vehicle this new and he indicated it had to be a factory defect in the bearing which caused this failure. I also filed a complaint with the Ford company.

The truck was running very rough. Found codes po171 and p2195 for O2 sensor stuck lean and bank 1 lean. Replaced b1s1 O2 sensor also mass air sensor. This truck has only 33,500 miles driven. Also had to reline front disc brakes ,replace front brake rotors and reline rear brakes and replace brake drums. This truck is not driven hard. Seems like alot of problems for only 33,500 miles.

The abs sensor is coming on constantly. Contacted dealer and they explained that there was dirt getting on the sensor, causing the light to come on which is a design flaw.
