GMC Envoy owners have reported 3 problems related to emission control (under the engine and engine cooling category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Emissions light would come on for a day or two and then go off for weeks. When having vehicle 50,000 mile service they hooked it up to the computer and got both a p0128 bad thermostat code and a p0463 fan clutch failure code. This care is less than 3 years old and should not have these problems. The thermostat was replaces as well as the fan clutch at great expense as the extended warranty did not cover the thermostat or the flush of the coolant system that went along with replacing said thermostat.

The contact owns a 2005 GMC Envoy. The contact stated that he was experiencing issues with the headlights. When his wife would drive the vehicle at 50 mph, the headlights would get dimmer and dimmer and then brighten again. On one occasion, the lights turned off completely and his wife had to drive home with the hazard lights flashing. The issue occurred intermittently.
