The contact owns a 2014 Honda Cr-v. On several occasions, the vehicle stalled while idling. The contact stated that the vehicle also surged while idling and the rpms fluctuated. The dealer diagnosed that the abs module caused the failure. Due to the abs module failure, the transmission module software could not be updated to prevent the surge while the vehicle was idling. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 23,790.

While driving in snowy weather, consumer heard loud noises and the abs failed to perform properly when applied. Dealer was contacted. . The truck did not stop in slippery conditions while the abs was active, consumer disabled the abs by removing the pump and the braking was normal.
