1 Anti-lock Brakes Fail problem of the 2006 Honda CR-V

Failure Date: 08/02/2013

The contact owns a 2006 Honda Cr-v. While depressing the brake pedal at 55 mph, a squeaking noise emitted from the vehicle. The failure recurred twice. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the inside of the brakes were corroded and the disk and routers were warped and needed to be replaced. In addition, the contact stated that the brake pad shattered and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred a third time where the vsc and anti-lock brakes failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
