Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. The contact stated her brake pedal would make an abnormal, squeaking noise upon depression as the engine warning light would intermittently illuminate. The contact then received a notification of NHTSA campaign number :20v520000(service brakes, hydraulic) however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. Patriot Hyundai of el monte(3462 peck rd, el monte, CA 91731), was contacted by phone on two separate occasions and confirmed that the parts were not yet available. The contact also had her vehicle inspected by the same dealer due to an abnormal oil odor that had emitted from the vehicle. The contact was informed by the dealer that there were no signs of oil leakage with the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown.
