Turbocharger water cooling inlet, mopar part number 68242889aa, is exposed to high temperatures on the hot side of the turbo, and the rubber heater hose that joins the two metal sections subsequently fails. This results in a complete loss of coolant, engine failure, and extreme temperature which may contribute to a fire hazard. In addition to my personal vehicle failing, I know of at least 5 other Jeep Grand Cherokees and ram trucks experiencing the same issue. All these share the 3. 0 ecodiesel engine.
