The vehicle instrument panel begins flashing multiple warning lights while driving and subsequently while stopped such as emergency brake on, key fob left the vehicle, fuel engine, tpms, etc. All of these occur while the vehicle is moving. While coming to a stop the power steering pump also becomes inoperative, the shift indicator (prnd) is blinking, and it is impossible to move the shift lever. The vehicle will not shut off until the battery is disconnected. The problem seems to manifest when ambient air temperature exceeds 80 fahrenheit and the vehicle has been previously operated.

2 Automatic Transmission Gear Indicator problem of the 2015 Jeep Renegade

Failure Date: 05/29/2023

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Renegade. The contact stated that while leaving his garage, the battery lost power and was completely drained. The vehicle was jumpstarted. The next day, the battery was drained again. The vehicle was jumpstarted again. Additionally, the vehicle failed to shift into park(p). There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact called the local dealer and who provided with unknown recommendations. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 106,000.
