While driving approximately 15 mph, the vehicle stalled and, after repeated attempts to restart the vehicle, it finally started and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. Also, the "service oil pump" message displayed in the message center. The vehicle was towed to jacksons of enid Chrysler Jeep (4405 w owen k gamont rd, enid, ok 73703) where it remained since December 9, 2019. The dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The contact also mentioned that the vehicle was taken to jacksons of enid Chrysler Jeep (4405 w owen k gamont rd, enid, ok 73703) three other times for transmission failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000.

Transmission failure occurred while driving up hill about 80miles north bound on I-15 to las vegas. The engine check lit up and showed transmission failure and to bring in for service. The car stalled and we were on the side of the road. Luckily the car started up again but would eventually stalled again as it tried to climb the hill. It stalled about 5 times until we could exit to a gas station (~5miles away) to exchange for another rental car. The car has about ~10k miles on it. The temperature outside was 105 degrees.
