Controls on the steering wheel started to go, including horn, air bag light, hands free controls. Mechanic and research done indicates it's the clock spring. This is a left hand drive vehicle. I know there is a recall on the right hand drive vehicles from this year.

Recently had airbag replaced per recall. About 2 weeks before, airbag light on console now comes on intermittently, usually at lower speeds. Will go off for brief period, then alarms and illuminates again. This began with around 149,500 miles. I am original purchaser. Airbag light was doing this at time of airbag replacement. I confirmed authorized repair dept. Was aware of this, and they confirmed. Informed me to schedule followup appointment for repair. Vehicle has been involved in no accidents. Upon personal review, it is my understanding this may be a clock spring issue, as buttons on steering wheel are non-operational, except cruise control and horn.
I had a recall on passenger airbag and had it repaired at dealership. Since the repair, my airbag light comes on and they say I need a clockspring replaced. This did not happen until they replaced the passenger side air bag. Now they are saying I will have to pay over $800 to replace the clockspring. I only have 62,000 miles on the Jeep and it shouldn't need this. It seems to me that something happened when when they did the recall repair.

Clockspring required replacement. Intermittant airbag light, intermittant function from controls on steering wheel. No pattern to intermittant functioning, I personally cleaned out all contacts and harnesses before paying dealership to replace clockspring.
Air bag indicator light goes on and off after the vehicle is initially started. Will go on and off at all times while driving vehicle. Sometimes will stay off for a long period of time and then come on. Other times it will stay off for s short period of time and then come back on.
My airbag light has come on at 80,000 miles 1. 20. 2019. I was told it is the clockspring. 2 months ago my wa580(nag1) transmission began to shift itself going uphill trying to find the right gear. I was told it was the valvebidy which is not under warranty even though the same part was replaced at 35,000 miles.
Steering wheel controls stopped working which also included the ability to use the horn. The air bag light also came on making the air bag system non operating. Is not a fuse issue. Something is faulty within the steering system and clock spring. Was driving down the road and the air bag light came on without any form of collision taking place. Tried using horn to see if it worked and no sound. Tried using radio controls none work. Tried using cruise control nothing worked. I have turned the Jeep steering wheel every way and nothing works. Turned it off and on still nothing working. Disconnected battery and then connected it back up. Still not working. Checked all fuses by dealer no issues. Factory equipment no modifications made still not working. Unsafe environment made by this malfunction within Jeep Wrangler.

Airbag light randomly turned on without reason.
Air bag light on, shop says the clock spring goes bad fair often in Jeeps. Still driving it without the needed repairs. Dealer says recall on mine was for the passenger airbags and even though they have had Jeep recalls regarding the clock spring, my Jeep is not showing up under that recall.

Takata recall, oil pump drive gear, pcm powerterrain control module I believe needs to be reprogrammed I have a failure of power while driving down the road like its getting to much or to little fuel and last week my oil pressure will not budge my gauges are slowly going out on my dash and the airbag light on dash blinks rapidly with the check gauges because of my old pressure I have taken it to multiple places to get it diagnosed and they say it is the oil pump drive gear and the pcm needing to be reprogrammed along with that being out of line my ground connections seem to be bad but I replace all of them from the battery to the engine block the dash and a couple more it has pressure but doesn't sound like it. All of this started happening at about 143,000 miles I have replaced multiple parts including the oil pump oil sensor all of the ground wires and terminals and checked as many relays as I can. Along with my dash when I had got it it had 130,000 miles on and the airbag light has always blinked and noticed a loss in power when I drive since I've had it, it runs through spark plugs and coils packs monthly and has since I've gotten it I drove it to georgia and back and it sounded like it was getting worse and just kept getting worse and worse until last week my oil pressure gauge says I have no pressure and the engine has oil pressure but you can tell it's going more and more out of line. I know when I look up my VIN number it says it's been updated since March 14, 2019 but when I log into another app it says I have recalls I don't know what to do or how to fix it but it definitely is the three recalls that was put on the 2005 Jeep Wrangler tj.

Takata recall the air bag light came on while in motion. I took it in for service and with 3 hours of checking unable to verify the problem. I have been with out a vehicle for a day and a half. I do have it at the dealership. Is this a manufactured issue.
After getting a fine dust within the cabin of the Jeep I had my airbag light come on. After doing research I saw there was a recall for this exact problem but I was informed that my Jeep was not in the recall list. I find this highly concerning as the safety recall s40 is exactly what happened to my Jeep when the airbag light came on. I would like this to be looked into as it is a major safety issue that the company already has placed a recall for Jeeps of my year of make.
Takata recall- a few days ago my airbag light started turning on and off each time I started my car and now the light has remained on.
Air bag light flashing on and off with chime.
The clock spring on my Jeep appears to have failed. The airbag light on my Jeep is on. The dealership says as long as this light is on the airbags in my vehicle will not deploy as intended. I've researched this issue and Jeep (fca us) recalled a majority of Jeeps from 07-12 for this issue. Additionally they issued an extended warranty for the clock spring for most Wranglers from 11-16. My vehicle should fall within each. I'm being told by both fca us and the Jeep dealership that this issue is not covered on my Jeep. This seems wrong when the clock spring issue is a known defect that presents a serious safety concern.
Airbag light in on indicating a problem with the airbag. I contacted Jeep and they said the repair would be $600. If this is a safety item due to no result of my own, then why should I have to pay for the repair?.
The seatbelt/airbag light went on at 27000 miles. One dealer said it was the wiring under the seat and another said it was the seatbelt. My municipal mechanic looked up recall information on the issue and it seems as though my vehicle should have been recalled. Any 2013 Jeep Wrangler sport made before 7/1/2013 has a faulty seatbelt. This is concerning and I am scared to have anyone ride on the passenger side. I am attaching the prodemand report. Please contact me as soon as possible. The light went on when I started the car,.
Airbag light constantly on. Faulty clock wire spring?.
The air bag light is on. Read multiple cases that a defective clock spring is the reason.
The air bag light on the dashboard just randomly alerts off and on and this was at the same time all the left side panels of the steering wheel stopped working including the horn. If someone is sitting in the passenger side front seat and their distribution of weight shifts the air bag passenger alert system let's you know it's not functioning properly. I was told the problem has something to do with a clockspring and it's air bag wiring under the passenger side front seat to the alert system. I saw on this site where it mentioned a clockspring problem. It does this whether stopped or going. This is continuously an issue now. Please advise how I need to proceed with the recall.

Takada recall. I recently had my recalled defective takada air bag replaced under warranty at antwerpen Jeep in catonsville MD. After replacing the air bag, I was informed that the air bag light was still on in my vehicle. They told me they could diagnose the light for $135. 00. I refused to pay this because they had previously replaced the clock spring under warranty and I informed them of my air bag light problem then. They wanted to charge me $200. 00 at that time to diagnose the system that they had just worked on. I now feel that I cannot trust this dealership to work my vehicle for these safety issues. This Jeep has never been in an accident and only has 80,000 miles. Please help me resolve this problem I have had since I bought this Jeep new in December of 2006 from antwerpen Jeep of catonsville. Thank you.
