My car is as 54090 miles, dealership changed housing thermostat and replaced the thermostat housing adaptor. Stated my car has internal engine noise from worn rockers and lifters. Was safe to drive. Got a second option, my car has rocker noise coming from the right bank and can wear. Also some cylinder heads had to be replaced. This was an issue with the 2012 and 2013 models so Chrysler should be taking these issues seriously and extended and recalling all 2015 Jeeps to do a maintenance check. I was told upon my independent review not to drive my car, to get it home safe and slow. I have reported the dealership to the bbb and filed a claim with Chrysler. This needs to be taken seriously.

Drivning on interstate in ohio after stop at service plaza and just got off ramp pulling onto interstate and oil light popped up and at same time engine made a noise. Immediately pulled off road. Turned off Jeep, called aaa. They towed me. I'm told it needs a new engine. I have records of good care of this vehicle. It only had 56,500 miles. I'm finding out others online others went through same. The garage tells me that Jeep knows of the problem and put a new upgrade to engines. These engines should have been recalled. Now I'm facing thousands for a new engine and I am without a vehicle. I have contacted Jeep and waiting for a response.

In Feb 2015 my 07 Jeep Wrangler started making odd noises and running poorly than is stopped. My Jeep had 69,500 miles on it and a service was done within 1,500 miles. It was towed to the service center- it did not have a drop of oil in it and the engine was blown. There was no indication of a oil leak anywhere! no warning lights came on either. Jeep refused to even listen or assist in any way. $6k later. . . . . . I have a new engine and check it every week! now when I park and get back in the Jeep it wont start- wont even turn over. It will finally start after 4-5 turns of the key. Its not heat, not distance, nothing being left on, not consistent- there is no rhyme or reason at all!! a man in a gas station heard me trying to start the Jeep and came over and shared this- push on the shifter really hard and it will start- it did and has every time now. When I stop I just make sure I push on the shifter. There is no recall and no service bulletin but is normal in the 07 it appears.

Check engine light came on. Initial trip to dealer and they decided to just reset the codes. Light came back on the next day. Return to dealer and they reported a bad cylinder head. Told me to keep driving, car now has more engine noise and power lose. (as a side note the dealership has also replaced, about 3 weeks ago, a"bad"pvc valve which resulted in the air filter and housing coated with about a 1/2 inch of engine oil. ). Have been waiting on parts going on 10 days. Not stupid enough to keep driving the vehicle as the dealer suggested. It is irresponsible for dealers to tell clients to keep driving when this vehicle has power issues and appears at risk for stalling. This is an accident waiting to happen.

My 2012 Wrangler with only 200 miles start to overheating when use more power to run uphill a road. I go to the dealer to verify and said to me that its normal. I said to theme that change me this Wrangler because was new and not change it with another. Also now at 987 miles the engine make a noise like a lifters. My question is , when the Wrangler won more miles the problems are more? I read on internet that some people have the same problems. Chrysler need to verify all pentastar engines.
It is a 2007 Jeep Wrangler x with a 6 speed manual, there is a loud squealing noise coming from underneath the truck. When in the rpm range of 1500 to 2000 rpms it makes this noise. It is starting to become very annoying because the more I drive the louder it gets. The dealership has replaced the throw out bearing per the TSB that was given. That has not fixed the problem. The dealership said they contacted Chrysler and that it would take 30 days to get a field engineer out to look at my problem to come up with a solution for it. So I am still waiting and not very happy with the dealerships outcome.
The contact stated car shut down at slow speeds. He owns a 2004 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. Has been having this problem since 3-05. There were 4,000 miles on the car when it first shut down. The car did not make any noise before this happened. No lights came on. The dealership could duplicate the problem. The dealership has talked to the manufacturer. The dealership put a brand new computer and a new throttle body, but the problem recurred.

Oil pressure guage drops to zero, warning buzzer sounds. Hazardous to pull over to shoulder in traffic, stop engine. Dealer reports oil pressure is fine, sender unit at fault. It's been repaired 3 times, still happens. I still feel it necessary to immediately reduce speed or stop until pressure guage reads normal to protect engine. This has caused some traffic safety issues for myself and other motorists.
