: the contact stated while traveling 30 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop, where it was determined the timing belt tensioner fractured. This caused the timing belt and tensioner pulley to fail as well. The timing belt tensioner housing and timing belt was replaced.

Loss of power and car stalled, unable to run ac or car stalls. Had the car tuned up, mechanic found engine oil in the spark plug well. Causing misfire and loss of power. Replaced o-ring 6/2005. In 6/2006 same problem occurred. Loss of power, unable to run ac. Was going to replace timing belt, mechanic found thick gunky oil resembling lard. Removed the gunk and weeks later the spark plug well has oil leaking into again with weeks. Car ran well for a couple of weeks, back to the loss of power. Car is not able to run with ac engaged or it will stall.

The struts failed. The cause had not been determined. The part had been replaced three times within one year. There were engine problems, the spark plugs continued to get dirty, two sets of tires were lost, there was an odor coming from the ac, there was a leak coming from the main seal and left rear corner of the head, the heater fan only worked on high, there was a tapping noise coming from the engine compartment when the vehicle was first started then goes away, there was a clunking noise in the front wheels, the flash module caused the engine light to come on and the upstream #2 sensor was replaced, the steering rack had broken, the temperature gauge was inoperative, and the ac belt was cracked. The consumer has since traded the vehicle.

The oil constantly leaks. The head gasket has been replaced three times. (1998, 2000, 2002). The head gasket is now worn again and needs to be replaced. The timing belt replaced once due to the oil leaking on it. Now the timing belt needs to be replaced again.
