1 Engine Burning Oil problem of the 1996 Plymouth Breeze

Failure Date: 01/27/2000

On the way to work noticed smoke coming from the hood, smelled oil burning. Continued to work, and parked vehicle in parking lot. After work, saw oil on the ground, and put more oil in vehicle. Took car to the dealer. Was told that it needed a new head gasket, and that they were in the process of redesigning, which meant that this part was on backorder.

2 Engine Burning Oil problem of the 1997 Plymouth Breeze

While driving consumer smelled burning oil. Dealer found that head gasket was leaking oil and needed to be replaced.
