The vehicle is a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. I bought a 2012 chevy Cruze eco that has 4 goodyear assurance fuel max tires on July 12, 2013. I was driving back home from my parents house approximatley 30 miles away. I got about 4 miles out of town and my low tire pressure light came on. I checked the tire pressure screen on the dash and I was slowly losing tire pressure. I made it back home with 6 psi of air in my tire. (it is supposed to have 35 psi. ) I got home and looked at the tire and it has about a 3/4" crack on the outside wall of the tire. I put air back in it and it deflated again pretty quick. It was Aug. 3, 2013 when this tire pressure light on issue happened.

The car is a 2009 Dodge Journey. The VIN of this Journey is 3D4GG57V09_. After raining the passenger side rear door fills with water. When I close the door I hear the water swish around inside and then I see it drain out of the bottom of the door. This is the 4th time that I have seen this happen in as many weeks. My wife has also noticed the exact same thing before I did. The door fills with water pretty much every time it rains. It seems like it is at least filling up with several cups of water. I am concerned with mold getting into the car and also the probability of an electrical short. This happens every single time it rains. In addition to the door filling with water the low tire pressure light keeps coming on and the rear left tire will slowly deflate. I have already had the tire replaced once and the same thing happened again in a matter of weeks. Outside air temperature seems to have no effect on when this occurs because it happen during the cold and when it is hot out. Usually the low tire pressure warning will come on within one week of filling the tire. The failure date was Saturday, May 28, 2011.

The car involved was a 2009 Ford Flex. The vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) was 2FMDK53C79_. I purchased four tires approximately four months ago. In the last week, three of those tires developed bulges in them, which could've resulted in a blowout. I was concerned for my family and my safety because I drive the highway frequently, transporting my children to and from school. I immediately went to the shop where I purchased the tires. Tire one was replaced with a road hazard warranty. I did not pay for the cost of another tire. Just yesterday, two more tires were replaced for the same issue, a bulge. The shop manager told me it was due to road conditions such as potholes and there was nothing I could do about it and it would continue to happen as long as the roads are bad. Later that same evening, my low tlire pressure light came on and by the next morning, on the way to dropping my husband off to work, he noticed the tire just replaced the day before was flat. When I contacted the tire manaufacturer, toyo tires, they said the same thing the tire shop said, indicating that it was due to road conditions. Basically, that is just the way it is with that type of vehicle/tire design. I think some investigation should be done with the tires, as this does not sound normal. This is the first time I have ever had tire issues and I drive in treacherous climates all the time. This problem occurred on Sunday, Mar. 9, 2014.

The contact noticed that the front driver side tire was beginning to lose pressure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnostics where the mechanic stated that the tire exhibited cracks on the sidewall and advised that the vehicle was unsafe to drive without replacing the tire. The mechanic replaced the tire. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician noticed that the rear driver side tire also exhibited cracks on the sidewall. The technician replaced both the front and rear driver side tires. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 13,600. This issue happened on Sunday, June 10, 2012.

The car is a 2008 Honda Fit. The car had a crash. Have had two blowouts on the same wheel (rear passenger) with different tire brands in less than three years of owning the car (blowouts were 16 months apart, maybe 8k miles). The Honda Fit is not capable of driving on highways! I was traveling at 75 mph, the tire pressure light came on the dash, my car and steering wheel began to vibrate/jerk, car fishtailed, and I was thrown perpendicular into traffic! I was lucky to not be hit by other drivers on the highway as they were able to stop (second time, there were no other cars behind me). This happened twice! these wheels are not safe! NHTSA needs to launch a full investigation. The failure date was Saturday, April 13, 2013.

The car was a 2011 Kia Motor Soul. Crash was involved with this problem. I was driving to work, making a left turn into the parking lot when the front passenger tire blew. The steering wheel pulled sharply to the right and I was pulled into a curb. This caused over $1600 worth of damage to the car. There was a huge hole in the side wall of the tire and no evidence of any metal or anything in the tire. Also, the tire pressure indicator light has never come on, so I know they were at the proper psi. I contacted the dealer when the accident happened, and was told they have no responsibility for the tires. They actually looked at the car and all they said was "this is just bad driving. " I then called the kia company and talked to three different people. Their conclusion was they are not responsible for the tires. One person even asked how much I weighed! this vehicle is a 2011 and only has 8,200 miles on it. I had to go through my insurance to get it fixed. I believe that kia should stand by these tires, because nexxen come standard on their vehicles. Since this has happened, I have researched online and have found people have had similar problems with the tires on kia vehicles. This tire pressure light on problem happened on Oct. 22, 2012.

The vehicle was a 2009 Lincoln Mkz. The check tire pressure light came on, when I went to have air added, workers noticed a bulge in the side wall. I contacted michelin, I notified michelin of the problem and excess tire tread wear at 22,99 miles. They had me take the tire to 2 locations for inspection (they said to rule out me hitting a curb), both places said it did not appear that I had hit a curb. They were to call be back and I never heard from them, I had to replace 2 tire and the other 2 need to be replaced also. One of the inspectors said he had seen the same issue about 2 weeks earlier with same tire on simular car. This problem occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011.

The car involved is a 2009 Mazda Mazda3. 12/26/12, tire pressure light came on, pulled off highway immediately, tire flat, nut holding pressure stem had disintegrated and stem went inside tire. 1/2/13, another tire went flat in parking area, neighbor came over to put air in tire, nut holding pressure stem had disintegrated and stem went inside tire. Mazda dealership made repair and said the other two tire stem nuts would go in about two weeks. All four tire stem nuts were replaced. Research on internet shows that this same problem has occured to many people owning different make/model/year vehicles. Apparently a defective nut and stem system with one of three serial numbers were on all the vehicles experiencing this dangerous situation. I believe these nut and stem systems with these serial numbers should be recalled as soon as possible as to avoid anyone experiencing a dangerous blowout. A nut on the wheel should not be made of a material that disintegrates in less than 4 years even if it is in contact with road salt. This is very dangerous. The fact that two nuts disintegrated in 8 days and probability of next two in two weeks should raise red flags immediately. This should not happen to anyone! I am submitting this information for my daughter as she is still very upset over this having happened and having incurred great expense on her part. This issue happened on Wed., Dec. 26, 2012.

The car is a 2011 Toyota Sienna. I took my car in for an oil change and asked them to check my tires due to my pressure light being on and the car was driving funny. Upon inspection it was discovered that there was a busted belt in the sidewall. This is the second tire I have had to replace in two months. Also, it was stated at this time that my car will not pass inspection due to wear on the tread and I will need to buy new tires before re-registering my vehicle. Car is less than one year old with under 20,000 miles. It was Apr. 16, 2012 when this tire pressure light on issue happened.

I bought my 2008 Toyota Sienna in October 2007. The first defect I noticed is when the rear windows are open, the rear doors do not lock in place when you open them. The mechanic stated said the he thought the reason it was designed this way was as a precaution, in case a child is leaning out of the window when the doors are opened. This made no sense. My experience has been that the door slams really hard and then bounces back. If a child happened to be leaning out the window they would suffer serious injury because of this. No one has been injured thus far, but the slamming certainly startles everyone! this happens even if the window is only open slightly. Another defect is the tire pressure light on the dash. It stays lit up constantly. After adding air on numerous occasions, I noticed that the light comes back on in just a couple of days. I discussed this with the dealer and he simply stated that tire pressure changes with the temperature. This is a safety issue because I would not know if the tires' inflation was really off or not. Obviously I cannot add air to the tires every other day. This tire pressure light on issue occurred Sunday, February 10, 2008.

The vehicle is a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta. As I'm driving along the interstate going 60 mph my tire pressure light comes on a mile later the steering wheel jerks out of my hand and I can hear the tire flapping. Luckily I was able to pull over to the side without an accident. I take the tire to the dealer where I bought the car five months (August) ago and they said there is nothing they can do but sell me another tire. The dealer also refused to give me the number to contact continental directly about the tire. So far nothing has been done about the tire. It was Thu., Dec. 8, 2011 when this tire pressure light on issue happened.

The vehicle having this issue was a 2004 Volkswagen Touareg. I am having trouble with my vw Touareg v6. Since then I have had numerous visits to the dealer for failures in design. Footlight would not shut off when the car was off due to trunk door latch being broken at time of purchase. Tires were wearing faster than normal and the alignment was bad. I was given new tires, however, when I asked if this could happen again, I was told yes and they were unsure what vw would do in the future. Tire pressure light goes on and off at any time. I was told this was a malfunction that happens when you have numerous computer options. It came on after a tire rotation and oil change and the dealer said "don't worry, it will reset itself and go off". Radio has mysteriously stopped working for 24 hours at a time. Car has actually been dead on two occasions and has left me stranded. I was told by the dealer that the battery in the Touareg can't support the car and the computer modules. I was told there was nothing that could be done about this as the battery was fully charged. I was told this was a mistake by vw and I would have to live with it. I was also told to not drive in the city as this makes the problem much worse. I was told that they aren't sure how that happened, but simply resetting the car made it return. Cd player would not work, car was "reset". I find this car to be the biggest joke ever made. I unfortunately am over the mileage for the lemon law in maine (I have 27,000miles on the car). I really think things are getting worse in my car the longer I have the thing. My biggest concern with the car is that there is a possibility it could stop working at any moment. I feel I should not have to carry a self jumping system in a practically brand new $34,000 car. I was also told by my dealership when I stated I was thinking of selling the car, that they didn't blame me as they had heard a lot of people say that about the Touareg. Yeah, I feel really safe with this car. I think it is time someone do something about this car and vw. This issue happened on Aug. 7, 2005.
